Super cute place right in the heart of Breckenridge! I wasn't sure about booking this place because of the other reviews, but the location and price were perfect. We ended up loving it there and had an amazingly nice stay. Yes, like just about everything in Breckenridge, the place sees to be stuck in the 1990s decor-wise. That was amusing but everything was clean and functional, just dated and a bit worn. The only main complaint was how hot and stuffy it got upstairs in the loft (we were there at the hottest time of the year). Even with the windows and doors wide open to the chilly night air there was no air circulation to the upstairs. A fan would really help. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. We loved just walking out the door and exploring the town and the abundance of yummy restaurants nearby. Yes you have to check-in and check-out a bit down the road (but they have a 24hr desk which helped with our 5am departure!) - my gps led me to a smoothie shop first so I had to ask for directions. We never got to eat at the restaurant downstairs because the waits were always crazy long (popular place!), so maybe next time. If we return to Breckenridge we will be staying here again.

Hot tub only open from 12-9pm, Expedia did not communicate well that there was a different check in location - it was essentially buried in the fine print at the bottom. Ended up missing the wedding ceremony I flew from Iowa to attend

Great location. Check-in is a separate location from hotel, which they tell you. However, the check-in was stated as 505 Main St., which is a outdoor mall. With no other directions, after traveling all day, I was wandering around a mall for 15 minutes trying to call the number provided, which kept giving me a busy signal. Finally, after reaching someone, I was told that there is a 505(a) and a 505(b), and check-in was a bit north of the mall. I originally booked 2 nights, and then decided that we wanted to get to Breck a day early, so booked another day ahead of the 2 already booked. When I did this (a few months ahead of my stay) I called and asked if that would be a problem. Was told no problem since both bookings were for single bed. However, when I checked in, I was told we would have to check out the next day and re-check in. Fun, especially since check-out is at 10AM and check-in isn't until 4PM. For some reason the first day they gave us a 2 bedroom and a loft (4 beds total) and 2 bathroom suite. That room was cozy, nice, with a lodge feel, great views. This was Aug., and there is no AC in the rooms, but there was a nice breeze. The 2nd room was a single, much (much) smaller, only one small mirror above the sink, a bit outdated. Parking was nice; underground, use room key. Did not see anyone use the hot tub; it s in the middle of the courtyard surrounded by rooms and closes at 9PM. Location great, wifi, parking, check-in area inconvenient.

The location of this lodge is perfect, especially if you are going to a show at the Riverwalk Center.

The property is close to everything and ours had a nice view and was next to the river. The property is old, smells, isn’t very clean.

Comfortable, clean and short walk to town along the creek. Balcony door off of living room provided cool breeze in the morning.

While the property Der Steiermark is good, there are several issues. First, there are no heavy curtains. The morning sun came in through the slates of the window covering. Second, the elevator would not go to the basement parking no matter what we tried. They either need to give clearer directions or fix it. We had to get out on the main level and take the stairs. It would have been nice to have some of the local literature about the area in the room when we arrived instead of going to the visitors center for it.

I liked there and w oils return. I want a copy of my itemized bill.

Several lights out, broken refrigerator handle. Bed is falling apart, mattress is cheap, everything is dated. Bathroom vanity and sink is so thin that the bathroom lights create ambient light in the cabinet below unit was not cleaned well either prior to arrival. Great location, but not pleasant to come back to in the evening.

Nothing stood out as exceptional I am sorry, under unit parking was nice and the fact that it was right off of main street was nice

The lake of an elevator was the only downside. Otherwise lovely.

Breckenridge was very Beautiful and clean . The view of the mountain was just Beautiful .

First off, the condo is perfectly located across from Peak 9 base area and directly behind Main Street. It is easy to walk to the lifts, the restaurants, bars and shops. The inside was nice and clean with plenty of the small amenities you need to include a nice fire place with wood and fire starter. Our one complaint is that we had 2 cars and only one parking spot. Breckenridge offers extended parking fairly close and Wyndham offers a shuttle from that spot. If it’s nice, I would suggest to walk. We waited on the shuttle which was longer than the walk. Also the check in spot is up the street from the condo so it wasn’t very convenient. I would suggest they go to digital locks to create an easier guest checkin/checkout experience.
