very happy with the stay. location is very close to the beach/promenade, shopping, casino, restaurants ect. check in was easy and parking available at the casino nearby. breakfast buffet was great would stay there again.

Stayed here quite a few times. Staff always very helpful ang friendly. Excellent buffet breakfast .Hotel is very ideally situated for ostend centre. 2mins walk to bars and shops and to promenade and beach.. Only downside on arrival(sunday) lift not working but was fixed next day.

Great location. Central, close to beach transport.Clean. Good breakfast. Being an older building has character. Poor lighting in passageways and stairs- may be dangerous to elderly or in event of emergency. Lighting appears to be activated by PIR.

Building from the 50s currently renovated with a good comfort. They offer a good breakfast included in room fare. Location close to tramway (running by the sea) stop.

Centrally location near tram stop. Not too far from the coast, shops, bars and a 15 min walk from the station

Nice, clean and efficient hotel close to beach. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is an added bonus.

The hotel is close to the beach and is very central. The tram is in front of it and the pedestrian zone is very near. The staff is friendly and can communicate in different languages. The breakfast is rich and delicious and the staff is constantly trying, that at breakfast nothing is empty. The rooms are comfortable.

Right next to the tram stop, which gives a good-value journey along the coast to other attractive resorts including Knokke. Well treated by most of the staff, but when I had a real problem to report, the woman on the desk was completely indifferent. The Flemish attitude rather soured my last afternoon. But I would return.

The building may be an historical monument, but the room was unbearably cramped, hot and stuffy.

The room was fine. not horrible, not amazing. Shower pressure could be better, especially for ladies with long hair like me. Service was great! Very kind staff

expected full english breakfast not so no sausages or sliced white bread for toast coffee ok scrambled egg slightly cold bacon too small and again slightly cold the staff very friendly and location good bus tram beach shops cafes pubs shop all nearby plus a small park my room was clean but shower too small i am 6 ft 1 so not much room to move water was very hot the toilette was a bit on the small side and separate from the shower the bed very close to a wardrobe so not much room to move about bed very comfortable lots of lights plugs tv not many channels but free wifi which was ok this hotel has the potential to be very good just needs the breakfast and rooms improving a bit as the staff where good and the location this made up for the room and breakfast would stay at this hotel again if the rooms where made a bit bigger and better organised plus some sausages white sliced bread add to the breakfast so it is a full english one

price / quality is good walking distance to the sea is les than 3 minutes many good restaurants in the neigborhood

Room was very small. Window facing an enclosed area with the restaurant extractor fan right next to it. Toilet and shower room were very small, hardly any room for me to move in the shower, and I'm only 5'9" and 12st. Stairways and hallways were poorly lit and no sign to guide me to my room.

Old Hotel in a poor condition, unestable and slow wifi, and uncomfortable beds.

Stayed a couple of nights mid week, for a family beach holiday. Everything was fine, except the Internet did not work in the room, a shame and not good enough for these days!

Dont even bother looking for somewhere else to stay this is a true gem, staff so friendly and helpful, sauna is a lovely treat as well, right in the centre no where is a far walk away! Will definitely be returning!

I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now it is one of the nicer ones in the area close to shops and markets which are on thursdays saturdays and sundays also most shops are open on sunday in ostend [summer months].The hotel has been up dated new bathrooms, bedrooms with double glazing.breakfast is nice but still continental they do scrambled egg and bit of broken bacon along with croissants, toast, cereal,yogurt etc all of which is self service. They do have car parking spaces but not many these are dotted around the area about 5 min from hotel 14 euros per day so if you require a space email hotel beforehand and book one. You cannot get in your room before 3 and park your car before midday.pros and consrooms are nice but no aircon so if windows open at night it will be very noisey in summer months from trams and people passing by the hotel 1,2,3,4,5 in the morning very noisey the sound echo's . Early in season or late might be better depending why you are going. summer time there is lots going on for kids but if just a adult break maybe better going not in the height of summer.
