Address online is not address for registration . When I got to to the wrong area I tried to call and no one answered to help me figure out where to go. Of course it was in the middle of a snow storm and after dark. Restaurant was not open, I was told there was a bar but come to find out it was in an entirely different building.

We were in the Gate House and found the proximity to Rte 7 and the traffic light made our room noisy because of truck traffic. All staff very welcoming with the exception of our waitperson at Jessica's Restaurant for an evening meal.

Quaint property, well maintained and conveniently located. Room decor very inviting. My only suggestion is a change in mattress. I could feel the springs which didn’t make for a comfortable night’s sleep. Breakfast included was superb, staff very friendly. Overall, highly recommend this property if in town for any MIDD events.

The staff are very friendly, responsive, thorough. The inn itself is very well maintained and tastefully done with wonderful outdoor spaces to sit as well. Breakfast is gourmet every morning with delicious cookies as treats. I’d highly recommend Swift Inn to anyone.

We really enjoyed our one night stay. The room was perfect. Breakfast was delicious!

Room was right over major traffic intersection and quite noisy as a result.

Everything was perfect, good room. Excellent a/c, shower and great served full breakfast. Tony was a great help in finding restaurants and things to do.

Grounds are perfectly done. Who ever is in charge of the landscaping should be honored. Room is clean, large and well appointed. Breakfast is ok, but needs fresh fruit and juice. This might have been available and was just not offered to me. Staff are kind, thoughtful, helpful and very pleasant. There is some loud noise at night from a bar or something, which makes afternoon and night time walks not peaceful at all. This is a shame since the inn and homes in the area are just so wonderful to view. Also the street noise from some rooms can be difficult to unhear. Thank you to all who are making my stay so enjoyable.

My wife and I stayed for a couple nights. It was AMAZING! We stayed in the garden room. EVERYTHING about this place was top notch. The owners are on the grounds and accessible. The staff is professional. The breakfast is like no other I’ve ever had, top notch. The French toast is incredible. We will stay here again when we visit this area of Vermont. I recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Middlebury VT area.

It was such a pretty inn and the restaurant was so good.

We took our dog, they made his and our stay extremely comfortable. They made us a wonderful breakfast in our room. Excellent place to stay!

We stayed at The Swift House this past weekend and it was fantastic! The staff was very attentive and above & beyond for us- from delivering fresh towels to our room to packing up our delicious breakfast to go!! I cannot say enough positive about our stay- it was that good. Also I will add the Swift House was spotless and beautifully maintained. Thank you again for a fantastic time, Kerri C

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful. A great experience.

They didn't let us stay at the hotel because of our dog. And on the website it says it's petfliendly.

It was a great property, grounds and breakfast was good. Our air conditioner did NOT work so hot in our room. We were on the street side so noisy with traffic. If we would ever stay again I would make sure I’m off the street and my air worked!

The room was just updated but with charm. The food was fantastic and the wait staff and bartender were the best. Nice quiet safe town.

We stayed at The Swift House Inn to help organize my mother's funeral ceremony, and the lighthearted and tranquill energy, staff, and environment were a lovely, pleasant, and welcome balance. We dined 3 separate evenings with family at Jessica's and found the food and the servers and the Sommelier exceptional. My husband and I are already planning out return in the fall. We highly recommend Swift House to all planning a visit to Middlebury VT.
