Quiet and small and right on the water

Excellent as always, 3rd time staying and just feels like home.

Azul del mar is absolutely charming! The rooms are very nice and clean. The beds are comfortable. Near by lots of fun in key largo. The Amoray is part of they share amenities. I will be back!

The property is immaculate! Older but very clean effencies. We had an ocean view room which included a sitting area. They provided coffee, cream, water and sodas. They didn’t have a pool on the property but you can use the pool at the sister property.

This propery is well located and has a very small privet beach. Room was big (we got the suite) and shower was comfortable. Nothing wasn't clean there....the inside and the outside. There wasn't enough light at the outside. The snall beach have the worst beach furnitures ever....you can't realy seat. Not enough shaded places. Super overpriced !!!

Upgraded to waterfront!

Our flight was delayed due to weather. They sent me a code to get into the room but not the time number. I called them no answer. They close at 5 pm we didn’t get here until almost midnight. I couldn’t find the room i walked around but without a room name or number it was impossible. I’m at the Hampton. In Florida it is the law that someone is on duty at the front desk 24 hours a day. I want my money returned.

We had a wonderful time. The property was very nice and clean. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the complimentary use of the paddleboards. It was in walking distance to several bars and restaurants which was nice. Highly recommend!

Quiet with a private beach area. The Boat House room was nice and clean. We enjoyed the free used of the kayak and paddle board. Only problems are ice machine not working and noise air conditioner in the room. I would stay here again. Hope next time their ice machine is working.

My fiancée and I stayed here for 3 nights in the Caribe room. This room had a private porch with table, chairs, and umbrella and a spacious king size bed and large bathroom. It also had a nice kitchenette with all the essentials (plates, cups, utensils, etc). The hotel was quiet and felt secluded despite being right off the Overseas highway There were also many cool perks including complimentary drinks in the fridge, washer and dryer on site, access to a pool and food truck, private beach with great views, and free use of kayaks and paddle boards! However, there were also a few minor cons, specifically regarding the room we stayed in. If anything these things were minor inconveniences but still worth noting. First, the room has a serious lack of outlets. There is only one by the bed and it is behind the king size bed. The other two outlets were on the other side of the room, which is not super practical. There was also only one night stand with a lamp. It would have been nice to have two nightstands and lamps. The outlet situation could have been remedied by simply adding lamps with USB plugs. There is no desk or table inside the room. It would have been nice to have a small table to have breakfast, coffee, or work from inside the room. The table outside is nice. But not always the best with the heat and bugs. Lastly, the shower/tub was awkward and could use an update. Overall, the pros outweighed the cons. We still enjoyed our stay!!

My husband and I have had the pleasure of visiting this property for the past 15 years and we love it. It is very private and close to everything.

Loved this property. Amoray Dive Center is 5 star!!! We loved the accommodations. Have stayed at amoray before. But this is quiet and a little set apart BUT you have all the same use as you would at the dive resort

Great Gulf View

An absolutely incredible suite. Very private.

Our room was very cozy, clean and overall fairly comfortable. My complaints are 1) that you have to go to Amoray Dive Resort to use the pool which was full of people and kids splashing and loud music playing. It wasn't very relaxing. 2) The mattress in our room felt cheap and uncomfortable. You could purchase Novaform mattresses from Costco that would last and be quite comfortable. Overall I love the grounds at Azul Del Mar. It's quiet and small and feels special like a lot of care and thought was put into the grounds. Our room was very clean, I loved the small kitchen area and the bathroom area. Aside from the uncomfortable bed our room was great-however the bed being comfortable is really important in a room.

Needed some updating but the staff was fantastic and location perfect.

Lovely property! The rooms are well kept, very clean and with plenty of thoughtful details, like a booklet with details of nearby restaurants, how to operate different appliances, etc. the front desk and the maintenance staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We will come back soon :)

Oceanfront is a stretch. You open up to a split of sand and about 25 feet of water. The walk from parking lot with luggage to the room was riddled with holes, uneven paths and just inconvenient. For the amount we paid, would expect amenities to include body wash. Geez!

Beautiful property with great amenities

The property sits on a small private beach which is beautiful and serene. Complimentary kayaks and standup boards are provided for guests use which is very nice! There are also hammocks, beach chairs/towels and tiki huts that complete a tropical paradise. We watched the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen on the dock, and even found a patch of colorful live coral reef under the crystal clear water. The experience was amazing. I’d highly recommend this hotel, but also would hope they improve their guest service in areas like providing clear instructions to the property, code to enter, and WiFi password which is nowhere to be found. We had to call their office multiple times to get the info above mentioned which we felt disappointed.

Very nice location and great accommodations

Nice clean room, great cleaning lady. Property kept very well! Very small beach area. It does have a small deck over the water. Next door properties are very close. Was very quiet. We had a nice stay. 😊

I have to commend the spectacular level of customer care provided by management. They provide a level of customer service here unlike any other I have ever experienced. If I could give them ten stars I would.

Note: my review is very specific to one room-type: La Palma. I almost feel bad to give this low-rating, but I think it is necessary to give this review to help out future travelers to this hotel. The location is amazing, and so is the overall vibes of this place. Loads of greenery and it is right on the bay. They have created a (tiny) beach which looks very cute. Overall, I would have loved this place, if it weren’t for the room we got. La Palma, does not have a bathroom door! I would have never booked a hotel had I known this before. (I did see a review mentioning this when I reached there, but it was a recent review and hadn’t been published when I had booked the hotel). Without the door, you are practically sharing the bathroom with anyone who you are sharing the room with (and mind you, the room is not extremely big either, so everything is happening right in front of you). I am sorry to write this, but you can’t go about doing your business, in front of another person, even if it is your better half! I wrote to the owner, and got a response that they are aware of this situation and working on it. Well, it doesn’t help me! Also the fact that someone else posted the same issue 3 weeks ago, clearly they are NOT working on it actively. Had they been, I wouldn’t have to leave the room and go outside, every time my wife wanted to take a dump, and vice-versa! It was HUGELY INCONVENIENT! Especially pinches more when you have to do this after paying north of four hundred bucks

Very nice spot. Was a little surprised how small the boat house room. Found the room to be a little dirty our first day. Overall very nice location with a beautiful view.
