Wonderful hotel that caters to dogs. We had a great stay and the inn is in a great location.

A wonderful Inn! Starting from the first time we stepped in to Paws on Pelham, we felt like it was our home away from home. Lisa, the inn keeper was so friendly and always helpful. The room was very comfortable and quiet which made it stress free when we had to leave the pups behind when we were out. Breakfast was really good and the ladies who prepared the food were always checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room was on the third floor so walking upstairs was required, but it wasn't an issue for us or our dogs. But if you are unable or unwilling to climb stairs, you will want to book one of the rooms on the first floor. We will definitely be back to Newport and will be staying at Paws 🐾!

My girlfriends and I had a 2 night, 3 day stay at Pelham. We were hoping to love it more. Although the outside grounds and property were stunning, the staff & service were very disappointing, (though the woman at check in with a bun and glasses was OUTSTANDING and so accommodating) We had no turn down for our room even though we contacted the innkeeper twice, and left the sign for service as directed. We recieved 2 towels for 4 people in the room, had to request for garbage to be taken, and no beds were made for us either day. We never recieved an apology, it was more of an inconvenience to them to have to even bring us extra stuff. On top of that, we were woken up to a fire alarm at 7am our first night staying over, and the staff acted as if it wasn’t a big deal. No apology, or sincerity. We were concerned about fire alarm going off again as the breaker kept beeping/buzzing with alarm that said heat trouble and we were told this was normal. You guys can add whatever else. But that’s something along the lines of what I would say.

Excellent place if you have a dog! Breakfast is amazing. Definitely will stay there when we come visit Newport again.

Very nice B&B two blocks from Newport Center and marinas. Despite the dog friendly approach, it was very quiet.

Charming place with lots of amenities, great location and good free breakfast. Extremely clean. My only minor complaints are a slow Wi-Fi signal in room #4 and noise from footsteps & paw steps in the room above. I could actually hear them talking. This is likely due to the lack of carpeting to be dog friendly, so I'm not sure what could be done about it.

Definitely recommend if you’re planning a trip to Newport with your fur baby! The location was great. It’s easily walkable to the waterfront. It’s also about a mile from the Cliff Walk. We drove there since my dog isn’t built for the summer, but the dedicated parking spot up the block is definitely a plus. The inn is also super dog-friendly! Water bowls and a dog bed is included in the room. Dogs are also allowed in the roof deck and in the outdoor space in the back. There’s also a park up the block to walk your dogs.

Really clean and tranquil room. Check in process was super easy. Access to a parking spot made the entire weekend so much easier. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Wxtra clean and very comfortable

There were no thermostats in the rooms on the third floor. A mini fridge in the room would be a plus. There was a small fridge in the reception area that was available to all guests to use.

I loved the location and off street parking which wasn’t too far from the house. Rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable. The instructions to get into the building and room were very clear. The housekeeping very friendly and attentive. My only complaint was the smell of the bleach in the room. Not sure if it was in the linens or bathroom. I’m very smell sensitive so this was a distraction.

Great place to stay.

I chose this property because of its proximity to all of the attractions Newport has to offer. Unfortunately, it rained the entire first two days of our visit. We did walk to places when possible but it was also extremely easy to get Ubers. Paws was extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious every morning! I would recommend Paws as a great place to stay in Newport whether you bring a dog or not.

I would stay here again any day . We had a wonderful time !

Great stay! Located in an ideal spot for walking to downtown Newport or browsing on Bellevue.

Breakfast each morning was great, we loved the latte machine! The parking was great. Our dog settled in nicely and even though it rained we had a lovely time!

Location was excellent. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The dogs staying at the property were not a problem at all.

This is an excellent location for dogs and humans to walk and enjoy the beautiful trees of Newport. Be advised that no dogs are allowed on beaches!

Great experience. The staff was absolutely incredible and unbelievably accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paws on Pelham. While it is very pet friendly and pet-themed, we did not have a pet with us but it was fun seeing the other four-legged visitors. Our room was well adorned and comfortable. Shower pressure not great but that is probably my only complaint. Location is super convenient to the water front area and to the Touro Synagogue. Parking was easy and free and located about a one or two minute walk up the street. Breakfast was good too. Not many options but the hot breakfast sandwich freshly prepared each morning was a tasty and filling way to start the day.

We love our 2 night stay at Paw on Pelham . We were on the 3rd floor which was tiring with all the luggage. The room was perfect for 3 adults (no dog) with 2 large beds, spacious modern bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. We loved that we could walk to shops & restaurants. We visited 2 mansions and did the cliff walk. We would stay again
