This property was adequate for a short stay, The bed was comfortable and the aircon worked, and the room was relatively quiet for most of the night. The restaurant and pool bar were very pleasant and provided a respite from being in the room. On the not so great side - the bathroom was a bit gungy and really needs updating, the room lighting was poor, and the wifi pretty woeful - not possible to watch streaming TV even though it was available on the smart TV. The property was a long way from the CBD so you need a car if you stay here. That being said, it was fine for a couple of nights and staff were very nice, even allowing us a late breakfast (which finishes at 9am).

Arriving at Knotts Crossing Resort the reception staff I found to be friendly. Our booking was for two nights. Once we went to our accommodation I was shocked at the conditions of our cabin. First impression of the cabin was the handrail shook. Once inside after jiggling the key to open the door I found the interior is so old and falling apart. The lounge had a cut in it. The blinds, walls and curtains had dirt and fingerprints on them. The windows above sink and bunk beds did not have curtains or a blinds on them. Light shone in of a nighttime from the outside light that was permanently on of an evening. The door leading into the cabin was not running properly. Every time you opened it, it shock the cabin. The bathroom ensuite was outside. It is old and very tired. The only saving grace of our stay was the meals at Savannah restaurant. The breakfast was part of our booking which gave us a choice of hot or cold. The evening meals were great. For the top dollar they are charging and If I had known the conditions of the accommodation I would not have stayed here.

Room was living in the 1970's, not acceptable. Paid for two nights but only stayed one.

We had a cabin with the bathroom attached. Very basic cabin. It was clean and the bathroom was as well. Food in the restaurant was beautiful.

Lady running this place was super lovely.

Unfortunately the plumbing leaked, so woke to wet carpet. Suspect this had been occurring for a while.

Room smelt like 10 drunk men had been staying, fireworks going off at night. Had to go to woolies and get smelly sprays . didn't feel safe at venue

Very nice well-run resort. Comfortable accommodation. Very convenient if visiting Katherine Gorge.

Clean but bathroom needs a total upgrade as mould between tiles etc. Older type units but good air conditioning, spacious. Had bus tour arrive late and leave early by us so heard everything. Very quiet during day but fills up at night. Quite pricey for condition of unit but likely due to location.

Good for a night or two, comfortable rooms, quiet and convenient parking is available. The restaurant has a varied menu and food is nice. Staff could be more welcoming but I guess they are busy.

The staff in the restaurant were outstanding, great food and great service. Condition of the cabin was quite rundown & requires some maintenance.

The room size was good but the air conditioning was inadequate for the temperature with the room temperature not dropping below 28. The one lounge chair in the room was filthy. When the temperature is 38 degrees you need an air conditioner that works

Great place with a perfect location. Had an Executive which was very spacious. Restaurant had a reasonable menu but more vegetarian meals would be a great addition.

I was given a key that, I found out by accident, actually unlocked both of the rooms either side of my allocated room. I felt extremely unsafe and reception were unable to help

The property was very clean but is very tired. The mattresses were old and honestly terrible giving little rest. The food in the restaurant left a lot to be desired with one of the meals returned as inedible and another partially eaten then given up with meat overcooked, potato mash watery and salad old. Would recommend the kangaroo spring rolls though.

Awesome stay clean room nice dining

The whole property and amenities are completely run down, the staff are uninterested in actually providing friendly service - the guy checking in might need some lessons in customer service, the room was dirty - there were cups under the bed, the cups in the fridge were filthy, there were belongings from the previous people left in the room. I ordered a meal take away from the restaurant, it took over an hour, was left sitting on the bench for a further 20 mins then given to me cold, asked for a new meal and the microwaved the one they had there, the manager apologised but the only excuse given was they were busy. As a previous local and someone who travels from Darwin to Katherine often, I will never book here again. Expensive lesson. It used to be a nice place and staff used to care.
