Awesome hotel all around. Great location, rooms, and service. Walk via the marina to Rovinj instead of taking a taxi, it's a short, beautiful and scenic route, with wonderful views of the town.

I love Lone, this is our 2nd time there and we love everything about the people and location of the hotel. Sadly this year my room was not cleaned nearly quarter as good as last year. Will give it another try next year … I just got unlucky with the cleaning people on my floor

Great location, great staff, beautiful landscape, amazing sea and wonderful natural park. Restaurants and breakfast are good. Hotel over all good, except bad Wi-Fi. Another annoying thing is the terrible mosquito situation, it is unfortunately a real plague!

Hotel is huge (260 rooms?). Lots of rooms, corridors, lobby area, 3 restaurants. Desk clerk not esp. friendly at checkin. Bellboy (Phillip) was good and helpful.
Used valet parking. Room is quite large and seems comfortable. Lighting doesn't reach desk area. Had our free buffet dinner. Good spread, lots of good deserts. Valet parking. 5* hotel of the modern mega-scale variety. Room large. Bathroom large. Breakfast buffet good but very busy- lots of guests, and lots of young children. Would definitely stay here again - price very reasonable for what you get.

Fantastic hotel, really unusual in style, very retro. Staff were all so very helpful throughout our stay. It was our silver wedding anniversary and they put champagne and truffles in the room. Amazing gardens and woods surrounding the whole area. Very picturesque

Overall it was a great stay. From the time we arrived, the service was great. Check in was easy and efficient. Our room was ready before we arrived, so no waiting time. Full valet service with free parking, which is not the norm in other hotels. The room was nice and spacious. Had everything we required, and was topped up throughout the day. Food was great at all the restaurants and value for money. Enjoyed the beach, indoor pool and spa facilities. The only request i would make, is that they remove the carpets from the elevators.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The rooms are super spacious, the staff are wonderful, helpful, accommodating, great at their work. The amenities are great with a number of restaurants available, a day spa with great options, a sauna and steam room facility, indoor outdoor pool options with a beach a few metres away and short walking distance to the old town and a number of other facilities. However, the hotel has everything, you dont even need to leave the residence.
The hotel has a modern look but its all around vibe is super relaxed and quiet which is exactly what we wanted and it was exactly the 'retreat' type stay advertised.
Would highly recommend.

Hotel Lone is a lovely hotel set in a beautiful garden by the sea - about 20 minutes flat walk from the centre of Rovinj. It’s not cheap but this hotel makes you feel special. The rooms are really well appointed and the balconies are private. The staff are friendly and attentive. Maistra - the company that owns Hotel Lone - also owns the Monte Mulini hotel next door and the Grand Park nearer to Rovinj. All great hotels if you can afford them

This is place is absolutely stunning. Art/Architecture museum of a hotel with an amazing breakfast from 7A-12PM, english speaking staff, and a simple safe walk to the beach or town. You felt the beauty of a forested reserve while staying in a posh hotel. It was even better then I imagined.

Amazing stay at the Lone, it’s a nice 10 min walk into Rovinj. We didn’t use the pool but used the beach part where you can stay on comfy lounge beds. Breakfast has a huge variety. The hotel is a little bit stale and lacking in atmosphere, it feels a bit museum esq however we would return again. We dined at Agli Amici at the partnering grand Park hotel and that was another level!!

The rooms were beautiful and modern including the bathrooms. Including offsite free self parking Great pool area and access to the water and the boardwalk to old town. It’s a 20 min walk to old town. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is right at the side of the beach and a beautiful nature reserve. Plus a 20 minute walk along a lovely promenade into the old town. Staff are brilliant and there’s a feeling of luxury and relaxation.

The staff are incredibly hospitable and the property landscape was incredible! The breakfast was delicious and the variety was top notch. We love the outdoor restaurant by the pool! Our one and only (truly only) complaint with the property was their pillows — my entire family left with quite a bit of neck and back pain. The pillows are low quality and it's shocking given the general amenities and other elements of the hotel that were so well executed.

We booked 3 rooms for 5 nights and overall we rated the hotel 4 out of 5. Firstly the staff were exceptional and the hotel and rooms were very clean.
Our main gripe is that the hotel is not totally child friendly. The pool area is extensive but is surrounded by steps which have no ramps for buggies or wheelchairs. So in our case we had continually lift our grandson’s buggy up and down the stairs. Moreover, the pool restaurant has no baby changing facilities so we were forced to change nappies on the toilet floor.
Otherwise, it’s a great hotel and would happily return.

A fantastic hotel and staff were charming and helpful. Very close to the beach and a lovely walk into Rovinj along the promenade. What was especially noticeable was how clean the whole area was ...no litter left anywhere...

Very stylish, large modern rooms and really comfortable beds. Spa was great, breakfast good albeit sometimes chaotic and options to eat within or close by. Rovinj town a 10 min easy walk. Shame pool was shared with sister hotel so was kid soup and noisy. Zone c on the front had v nice beds and sea access.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The dining was superb as well as the breakfast. I wish there was more space to store clothes. The staff was very excellent at fulfilling our needs.

Great stay.The only small downside was when asking for a late check out, that the receptionist didn't even heard us, just said a straight NO.Apart from that it was as usual great.
