Nice location,nice staff,clean room. Food was good

Second time me, my son and grandson have stayed here. It’s comfortable, has a friendly atmosphere, lovely food and a good selection of drinks. Given a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early. Great location for Goodwood

Would recommend this to anyone! Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful bed, so comfy. Lovely large room with tea & coffee making, ironing board, iron, and a jar of jelly beans! Very clean. Had a meal in the restaurant with friends. It was delicious. I had cottage pie, our friends had the pork stuffing pie, great desserts and was not overpriced either.

Have stayed here before and returned as we love the convenience of the property for visiting nearby attractions. Owners really friendly and welcoming. Room we requested is large and comfortable, although mattresses were a little softer than we remember, so beds not quite as comfortable as when we visited in 2022. However everything was very clean. Good value meals available in the evening and inclusive breakfast is very good.

Excellent food, lovely staff.

This was a great overnight stay with a clean and cosy room. The owners and staff were very nice and made sure we were looked after as we travelled from far and also had to leave early in the morning. The room had every thing you needed with toiletries, tea and coffee making, and extra heater if needed and they had thought of the customer at all times. The food at the pub was excellent and we old definitely visit again.

Really lovely stay at The Labouring Man. The room was a great size, well presented, very clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant were warm and inviting (good food). Very welcoming and friendly service. Will definitely return.

4 nights of comfort and fabulous food. Couldn't make breakfast but was given a suitable packed breakfast that just hit the spot. Evening meals of the home cooked range were fabulous.

Excellent staff, great rooms, very clean and tidy. Locals were very nice too. Breakfast was really good and so nice to get the toast with the breakfast so its still hot! Good parking.

Inside and outside seating were lovely. A perfect escape. Away from the main road, but not too far. Intelligent personable staff and a wide variety of welcomed customers. Plan to stay again.

A gem of a pub, with friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean the breakfast was of a good quality. The views over the Downs are gorgeous. My husband enjoyed the choice of ales. Very good value for money, would visit again

A nice stay, however recent staff changes were dissapointing since previous staff made the venue feel even more welcoming and friendly.

Excellent pub with friendly owners in a convenient location. Very clean spacious room with all that we required. Wonderful home cooked food and comfortable bed/good shower. Lovely to also have a sofa in the room. only minor issue was bedside lamp had dodgy connection and there is some outside noise. \given that it is a popular pub that 's probably not unreasonable!

I had read on previous reviews that the wifi was poor . I was a little concerned as I was staying on business for a week. There was no need

Second time I have stayed here. Ideal position for visiting Arundel and surrounding area. As before we were made very welcome and our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day.

Nice place for a one night stay, owners very friendly, lovely evening meal in bar area. Didn’t have time for breakfast.

Lovely little pub great room quite large very clean. Lovely helpful couple who run it. As a female business director travelling alone i felt very safe and cared for.

The staff at The Labouring Man were very helpful and the food was excellent. The room we stayed in was lovely. I would definitely recommend a stay here, or even just a meal at this venue. I wish we had arranged to stay a couple more nights

Accommodation was excellent value for money. Very pleasant, spacious room, tastefully decorated, with really comfortable beds and the bonus of a large Freeview TV. The evening meal we had in the pub was nice as was the inclusive breakfast the next day. The staff are lovely and made us feel valued and very welcome. Couple of slight drawbacks - internet connection was very patchy and we couldn't get online in our room (owner apologised and explained the reason). Other slight issue was that we had a very wet bathroom floor. We dried it ourselves with the bath mat provided, we later discovered that it was probably due to the glass shower screen not being watertight. Neither of these problems were major for us and would not put us off visiting again. Overall an excellent place to stay within easy reach of Arundel and Chichester.

Pleasant, comfortable and very clean twin room with ensuite. Good breakfast and friendly staff. I can't comment on the restaurant - we were unable to get a booking as it was fully booked so it must be very popular. I would stay there again.
