I was traveling with my family. We stayed at the sands Khao Lak for 3 nights in a pool access room. My girls loved the slide pool, the weather was so nice and the buffet breakfast was good enough. Overall we loved our stay at the Sands Khao Lak

The resort is wonderful for kids. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds and facilities are clean and well kept up. The breakfast buffet was varied and something for everyone. We often sat there for an hour enjoying the breakfast and atmosphere. We loved the water park. Just have to pay attention to the schedule for the slide and lazy river. But the kids got used to that and enjoyed it so much that they even used it in the rainy days. The beach is walkable but no one was using the many lounging chairs because it was rainy season with red flags warnings. I highly recommend this resort for anyone who has children

Wonderful stay at The Sands Hotel. Service and staff was great and we enjoyed a great time there. Rooms were very clean and good.
The gym was great to workout in the morning and the breakfast buffet offered a lot different kinds of dishes. Overall a great hotel with a nice pool.

The hitel is great, ita perfect for family and kids. We had access pool and that was one of the best room in Thailand.

Great place for a family holiday. Kids 5 and 7 absolutely loved it. Went to kids club daily which got them out of the heat. Loved the slides, kids water park. The pools were hot, not refreshing.
The rooms had great air con, which was needed as it was so hot.
We ate outside the hotel every night, and easy to get tuk tuk, or walk.

Our stay The Sands was wonderful. We had high expectations for our long awaited trip to Khao Lak and having already had a week of hectic sightseeing in busy Phuket, we were delighted to arrive to Khao Lak to a relaxing resort but with enough to keep the children entertained. We loved the local area which provided so many options for shopping and eating out. We had a swim up family room which had excellent facilities and was beautifully furnished. I have literally zero complaints!

Generally very nice hotel, amazing service from all of the crew, the rooms are nice, breakfast is very nice and has vas selection. The beach in front of the hotel is not the best. but the hotel has amazing pools.

Fantastic for children. The only thing was that I wish they would enforce the Sun bed policy if someone leaves for an hour they will remove the beach towels at times people were holding 4 or 5 Sun beds but were gone for the day

We very enjoyed our stay in KATATANI.
But a pot in our room made something food smell, when we mde water hot.
We guess another guest might cook noodle or somthing in the pot.
We can confirm the smell when we use the pot.
It is difficult that hotel staff find the smell.

Liked that it was right on the beach and close to small town. Liked that it had a water park and kids club on site. Did not like that it was very crowded and too many people, too few sun beds. Staff were also not very Good at understanding English.

We absolutely loved our stay with all. Staff are so attentive and friendly couldn’t do enough to help us. We were lucky enough to be there for new years eve oh my goodness what a party!! Totally unexpected as we didn’t know it was happening, amazing food, entertainment, and the staff worked so hard all day and evening.

Great hotel to stay with kids at. The kids club and water park are huge and the food in the beach restaurant is amazing. Unfortunately there is only a small beach you can’t lay on. And it’s so humid that we weren’t able to get fresh air in our room cause of the Moskitos.

Excellent resort in Khao Lak. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable beds. Pools were amazing and both big and small kids absolutely loved lazy river. Food at Talay restaurant was delicious and staff always helpful. Definitely recommend this resort to everyone.

The property is beautiful. It has many pools, for children, for adults, for families. There are spas to relax. The resort is attached to the beach so if you don't want to swim you can walk to the beach or take a swim in the ocean. The breakfast is excellent, good variety. You can have drinks and lunch by the pools. They also have a kids adventure park. I would go back again. The staff are very friendly, always smiling and do their best to keep everyone happy. There are life guards at the pool as well as on the beach. It is an hour and a half from Phuket International airport but it is worth it because of the quietness and relaxing atmosphere.
