Friendly staff. Clean renovated room. Small bathroom though nicely done. Would stay there again.

We had an issue with the microwave popping the circuit breaker, but the front desk handled it well and stood by the breaker to reset it until our food was cooked. Very good customer service!

The property was very clean, we were greeted by a friendly front desk person at midnight who gave us a welcome bag which was a great midnight snack and a bottle of water for each of us. This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but they've done a wonderful job remodeling the inside. Anytime I'm in the Hudson area I would definitely stay here again.

The people in the room above me were so loud all night. I only got a couple hours of sleep. Horrible experience. Great room and service but it was way too noisy.

Bathroom is a bit small. A little rough on the outside. Inside was clean. Bed was comfortable. Service was phenomenal.

From the outside it seems old and rundown but the room was great and comfortable! I loved this place! Except they told my husband he’d have to go to a convenience store for ice so I guess they don’t have an ice machine. Was only there for one night.

Very friendly staff for sure. I booked this super late so understood I had limited options for if I didn't want to pay hundreds more for a single night. My room was adequate for sleeping but the property is right off the highway. I kept the fan running all night. I didn't expect how dated the exterior is when pulling in. However the staff made up for this and its location was convenient to downtown Hudson and Stillwater.

Just what we wanted. Right off the highway, clean, comfortable, nice front desk guy, reasonable price. Just to sleep overnight, perfect.

As far as cheap, roadside motels go, they don't get much better than this place. Room was pretty small, but very well maintained and clean. Staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming - greeted at check-in with a bag with snacks and bottles of water. Easy, quick drive to the Twin Cities from here. There's an entrance ramp to I-94 West a couple hundred feet from the parking lot so you can leave your room and be on the highway in less than a minute. There's definitely nothing extravagant about it, but if you want a no-frills stay at a cheap and convenient place that is clean and safe, this place is a bargain.

The property had everything we needed. It was very clean. That was super important to us. It was quiet. We barely heard any sounds from other rooms. We appreciated the welcome gift and thank the staff for their courteous assistance.

While the outside of the building looks a little rough, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. That’s most important to me when staying in a hotel/motel. The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant. Was a good experience.

Check in was great. The man who checked me in was kind, polite, etc. Probably wouldn’t stay more than a day but it worked for a early flight hotel.

Staff was very friendly upon arrival even received a little care package which was unexpected. Rooms were clean, quiet and well maintained. We will definitely come back here

Close to the Somerset Ampitheater, where we attended a concert. Quick & easy check-in and the room was very clean. Also loved getting a "welcome bag"!

The room was tight but comfortable. Had a very nice TV. Not much space in front of the toilet, but usable.

It was a nice stay. It was clean and comfortable. The fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly. There were 3 cons: 1-There was no elevator so if stairs are a problem, be aware to ask for a ground level room. 2-There is no real ice machine. The ice situation was pathetic. 3-There were no towel racks in the bathroom. Hanging up your towel after a shower--- i used the shower curtain rod.

I spent one night at Royal Inn. Pros: Friendly front desk staff, quick & easy checkin. Clean room, great shower head. Fridge, microwave, large TV. Parking directly outside room door. Cons: Very narrow bathroom. I am 5’6” with a slender body type and there were only about 3” of space between my knees and the wall while sitting on the toilet. Room is very dark, only one small window. This is probably not a deal breaker for most people but I thrive on natural light. Constant & loud vehicle traffic noise. Not a good location for light sleepers.
