Check in was fast and friendly. No issues at all! The best thing about this hotel is how quiet it is. The breakfast was, without a doubt, the best we've even experienced! First class all the way!

I was given a room set up for a person with a disability. I didn't unpack and immediately went back to the front desk for a room change. I was told that the second night of my stay that the hotel was "completely" booked and that a room change was not possible. I have no way to be sure but with the number of cars in the parking lot and people around the property during the day, I found it hard to believe that the entire hotel was booked. I think because I booked through Hotels.com, we were not given the same level of service on location.

First time in this hotel. Liked the pool and the hot tub. The Great main room is well as well (with games available). Coffee and tea always available was good.
Price paid was extremely high however, so I was expecting a bit better & bette room.
Breakfast was good as well.

Great medium-priced place to stay right in downtown Placid. Rooms were fine and the lobby is quite nice with a Adirondack vibe and great views of Mirror Lake. Very convenient location with all of downtown within easy walk. In summer the Mirror Lake beach is right across the street. Full breakfast is included but I found the eggs, sausage and potatoes to all be too salty for my liking. I did better with the toast and bagels and such. Parking is ample and easy. I was completely satisfied with our stay.

Bed so comfy, room & bathroom very clean, friendly staffs, great location next to Mirror lake, lobby spacious, outdoor sitting facing the lake . Walkable to Olympic museum, restaurant & shopping area. This is my 2nd time in this hotel & will come back again, highly recommend to my family & friends & eveyone. We love it.

The room was very clean. It was a nice surprise to have the room cleaned the next day. It was nice to have service get back to pre-covid service. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I am confused as to why the Hotel bar has NO Liquor and the poor quality of your TP was terrible as silly as that sounds.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton Inn in Lake Placid. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure my needs were met throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony with a view of Mirror Lake.The location was also fantastic, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the Hampton Inn Lake Placid to anyone visiting the area.

We came to Lake Placid for a three night getaway to celebrate my birthday
The Hampton Inn was the perfect hotel for this little vacation
We had a studio with a balcony overlooking the lake, which was very nice
All the staff that we encountered were extremely helpful, polite, and welcoming
My only complaint which is very minor is the chair and couch in our room with very uncomfortable to sit on
We really couldn’t figure out why that was the case there was something weird about the cushions. I’m not sure that the property may want to look into that.
Other than that, we were pleasantly pleased with the room at the location
The free breakfast was adequate and had plenty of options The room that was the main area for eating and hanging out and is quite lovely overlooking the lake

Overall stay was nice, but I had to checkout a day early because of my daughter was not well and there was no option to get any refund or points. they charged me full day even i didn't stay. I spoke to expedia they said Hotel doesn't allow and when I spoke to Hotel they said because it's booked by expedia they don't offer any refund or points. Kind of going in circle situation.
