Cabin itself was great for 1-2 adults & 1-2 small children. Fully furnished kitchen, multiple heat & air conditioning units. Wi-Fi was too weak for my phone to connect, luckily I brought books & watched tv. The owner of this resort needs to buy 20 plus loads of gravel and fill the oversize pot holes in the driveways, one was large enough to swallow up a Volkswagen Beetle, ridiculous that no attention has been taken to fill in these holes and smooth out driveways.

Be prepared to pay for any early check in. Space around our cabin was minimal. Fire ring is only a few feet from your car and is surrounded by ashes from previous campers that will track into your car, the cabin and everywhere else. A little sand or gravel around the fire pit would help this.
I would not want to be here during peak time of year because of the restroom and shower facility. It was clean and new just not adequate for a full site.

Best experience to stay. Kids love it, I love it.

Yurt was clean and one of the two we rented had all amenities. One yurt TV did not work and neither did the heat.
Laundry room left much to be desired. Only 1 working washing machine, all others “Out of Order”.

Close to river

Bunk houses were comfortable and peaceful. Seperate bathrooms but they were clean and modern.
Wish the games room was open in the middle of the day for guests to use, otherwise was a very enjoyable stay!

It's fine for what it is. Pros: it's nice they have a gas station and a little store right at the top of the hill. The lodge down at the bottom of the hill is a nice amenity, you can use the Wi-Fi for free, restrooms, there's a little creek right there, and of course it's air-conditioned. Nothing really going on there, just a good place to sit on the porch and catch up on your stuff on your phone. It's also nice that it's only about 5 miles from the entrance to Yosemite National Park, which was my whole reason for visiting the area.
Cons: I wasn't aware that there was no air-conditioning in the bunkhouse. I don't know if they just don't make it clear, or I missed it. Fortunately, it's still nice and cool at night , and I was gone most of the time during the day. It's a constant struggle to find a way to use the bathroom. For the whole bunkhouse area, as far as I know, there was only one bathroom with two showers, one toilet, one urinal and one sink. There were bathrooms down in the lodge, but that was like half a mile away. Also, this entire area has connectivity as an issue. There's absolutely zero cell phone reception. They have some Wi-Fi, but it's completely unreliable. I even paid extra and sometimes it is up sometimes it is down. Even when it was up, it totally sucked . Someone who needs to stay connected for whatever reason for example most of my vacations are working vacations. This is not the place for you.

Very cozy yurt, tv did not work. Grill was dirty & hangers and rod were on floor. Not too clean.

The only thing that was off is our fan didn’t work very well. Other than that, it was awesome! Very cozy!

Location was good
But the cabin was not clean and they do not clean
Reception hours were limited
Late opening as 9:00 AM too early closure 6:00 pm in a park that during summer is highly traveled from 7:00 Am to 7-8 pm

Soiled linens were piled in the bathroom when we arrived. No sheets or towels. We arrived late, so we had no way to get any sheets or towels. We slept with sweaters over us, absolute terrible experience. Site was extremely crowded with RVs and creepy neighbors sitting in the dark staring. We booked 2 nights and only stayed one, it was so bad. Avoid this place.

When we arrived we could not stay in the cabin assigned to us. The skunk smell was terrible. After 3 hours waiting we got into a temporary yurt for the night (Thanks to the work of Mark who is their maintenance man.)

Unfortunately they are very short staffed and the cabins go uncleaned for several hours past check in time. Also, garbage was not collected. The staff was working their butts off... but needed more help

Everything was very good except for that the the gas grills were missing. Their web site and the Expedia site show a large gas grill in front of each cottage. We were a group of 14 people, and stayed in two cottages, one yurt, and a tent site for three nights. We had planned meals for 14 people relying on the grills. The lack of grills made cooking very difficult. Their office hours are 9am to 5pm. We were out hiking during those hours so we couldn't speak to them. After I came back from the hiking trip, I sent them a message about the discrepancy on the facility (that's why I gave one star) but I still haven't heard from them.
The misleading photographs lead to difficulty with cooking.

The yurt was bigger than expected. Nice to have a kitchen and bathroom and multiple beds. Kitchen had basic stocked items. The yurt was really expensive. The tent sites are waaay overpriced. Not really kept up. Obviously not their target audience.
Communication was just ok. I wasn’t really sure how to check out. Office hours are pretty limited.

We loved our little bunkhouse! It was perfect for 2 of us as we were there to hike and hang out. The bathroom is close to all cabins. We never had to wait long for shower if at all. Room was clean and had all we needed.

Don't waste your money on the cabins. Maybe if it were half the price it would've been fine.
The cabin had cobwebs and heavy dust everywhere. There were bugs, loose hair on the sheets and towels, and lights not working - we were excited to take a long, hot shower only to find that the cabin had maybe two minutes' worth of hot water. Our showers were FREEZING. The kicker was blood on one of the pillowcases.
Moreover, every communication pathway - booking emails, campground signage, and printed guides - had completely different info listings for camp amenities. For example, our booking confirmation AND welcome email from the campground said the camp store would be open until 9, and we were arriving around 8 p.m. - since the Yosemite area is fairly remote, we planned to get food at the store when we arrived. Nope - it had closed at 6. So we had no food and water, and no wood to have a bonfire like we had planned. As far as we could tell, the activities lodge wasn't open at all - we went by and checked it out, and later heard another camper mention it was constantly closed at the front desk.
The employees were all very kind, but it seemed extremely disorganized - including us trying to finalize our check-in with a brand new employee, day 2 on the job, whose supervisor/trainer had apparently decided not to show up to work that day.
Don't waste your money, stay somewhere that actually provides the amenities you are paying for.

It was such a fun place. We loved the cabin and close proximity to Yosemite. They have a very nice staff that are always willing to help.

We stayed in a hillside yurt. The space was comfortable and surprisingly warm in the rain/snow. Kids enjoyed the playground and teatherball. This was a fun place to stay while visiting Yosemite.

Lots to do here with playground and outdoor games and river down by the lodge. Our hillside yurt was at the top of the hill which we loved and had a huge open play area. The yurt was bigger than I expected and was in decent shape. If temperatures are cold, I recommend bringing your own sleeping bags and portable heater. No wifi. Bring a lantern as the yurt can be dim. Confirmed that they do have mountain lions in the area so be careful with small pets. They offer dvds to borrow from the office but you may want to bring some of your own. Also check your tv and dvd player right when you get there as we had a hiccup with receiving help after hours but were compensated for it when we left. It’s a huge property and my kids had plenty to do. We enjoyed riding bikes and playing on the playground. The river is also beautiful. Our yurt did have spiders that I did not enjoy. Expected but unexpected.

Nice quiet cottage. Warm and clean. 5 miles from the park entrance and about 12 miles from Groveland which has grocery and a few restaurants.

Property is next to a river. There is hiking trails on the property. Very quiet and peaceful. I would have loved it if they had dining options.

This is a campsite & not a hotel at all. They provided bunkhouse with no water, no restroom. Restroom were located 3 blocks away from bunkhouse and was common between multiple camps & bunkhouses.
Only on toilet & only 2 open bathrooms among 10+ campers.

About 5 miles from the Yosemite entrance. The bunk houses have no bathroom and do not come with towels, so be aware of that!

We took a bunk house. Property did not provide bath towels, toiletries and wifi. Petrol station and adjacent convenience store is at a walkable distance.

Some descriptions from website are different from the real situation. Perhaps I misunderstood that it is more like a camp site rather than hotel or hostel. (But this accommodation is listed in hotels.com!!!) The worst thing is that we needed to drive as many as seven minutes in order to go to our hut from the reception and the last day we needed to drive again to drop off the key. Accordingly, the direct path between them has been closed and so we needed to drive a big circle. Not easy to reach their staff unless you drive there and within their working hours; yes, no other connection or network between our hut and the staff there unless you would like to drive again on the hilly path.

The road was out which complicated things, but it was a great stay in their cabins, bathrooms were awesome and super clean plus the grocery/gas store on site was awesome as well.

No bathroom in the cabins. Common bathrooms and showers were filthy. Avoid.
2.0 / 10.0
There was no electricity and no bathroom. It was uninhabitable, so we had to leave earlier. However, we were charged the full amount.
10.0 / 10.0
400 units here and 4 computers at welcome desk, but only one, overworked employee there. I ran front desk at Old Faithful Inn--only 327 units, but we always had more coverage than 1 person. I understand if they tried but couldn't hired anyone, but I don't understand "won't hire more" which is the impression I received while there.

Very convenient location if you visit Yosemite Valley.Communication is poor, they upgraded my bunkhouse to cabin without letting me know and were asking for additional 400$ for upgrade that I didn’t ask to do.Spend a lot of time trying to get my originally booked bunkhouse back.Very cute bunkhouse but was dirty inside.

Nothing nearby. So prepare yourself before going there.

Great 1 bedroom cabin, just minor feedback. Linen specifically said when booked was included, but, it wasn't anywhere to be found, however, there was a couple of blankets, good thing I have packed a couple of sets to use. Stove top ventilation wasn't working so, each time we cooked, the smoke alarm was going off, opening the window was the only option however, being in the low 30's in the evening. Campground is well maintained and organized, there's no cellular service, but, has free wi-fi, but, only directly in front of the office. This place is beautiful and will definitely be returning.

Cottage was fine, but sofa bed did not work very run down. All activities at resort were closed including the Rec Room. No internet whatsoever unless you are by the main office even if you pay the $5 it does not reach you cottage. I did like full size fridge and that all cooking utensils and cleaning items were available
