Great little resort only a few miles from Rocky Mountain National Park. Very close to downtown Estes Park for shopping and restaurants. The restaurant next to the resorts has great food.

Love this place, close to RMNP

Loved the setting and location. The bed was Uncomfortable as we both would roll to the middle and the blinds didn’t allow much privacy. Loved everything else about the location.

Nice place to stay

Nice little Motel. Very beautiful furnishings and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for a good hot soaking bath. Very nice location with a lot of amenities outdoor outdoors.

We loved everything about staying here. The house keepers were so friendly and helpful. The view outside the door was amazing and the river was within walking distance, definitely will use this place again

It was really nice only stayed 1 night,the check in was all by text didn’t really care for that there was a clunky noise outside of unit in AM that woke me overall though a very nice place would definitely stay there again nice that it was away from the downtown Estes Park area

We spent 4 nights recently at Nicky’s Resort in Estes Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While the facility is older, it is very well maintained and me our needs. Nicky’s operates much like a VRBO in that there are now desk staff on premises. Room keys are accessed via a coded lock box. A restaurant on the property (independently owned) is very good and convenient. Location is 5 minutes from the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Excellent welcome from on scene acting owner. She was friendly, knowledgeable……. super !

My family and I could tell that the property is a work in progress. The room was clean but our space had some issues that were addressed with the property manager. If i had to critique it would be that the beds were super stiff

Had a great internet connection when it was working. They are still working on it so it's still up and coming but I can see that it's definitely going to be great when they get finished. The staff was awesome. The only thing I didn't like was that the blind on the door were destroyed but as the staff guy Ben said, they are still in the process of replacing stuff across the property so once this happens it's will be one of the nicest places Ive stayed in the area.

Better than most hotels in the area. Wapiti restaurant is next door which was very convenient and the food/service was great.

This place was great! It was out of town a little, giving a secluded cabin like feeling but as sort of a motel. It. Also had a restaurant and bar attached which was great! Tons of sports activities and a swimming pool!

Overall, it a great visit. I had no issues. The price point definitely made up for the small issues below. I had a single room with a king bed on the first level of the first building. I did not have a suite or kitchen. This was the nearly the lowest hotel price I could find in the area, which is a huge plus. But it was basically a regular hotel with mild wood cabin trim with an exterior hallway. The name Nickys Resort is very misleading. The images online led me to believe the property was higher quality than what I found. But given how outrageous the prices were in the area, the low price per night explains the medium quality. I had difficulty finding the hotel and parked in a neighboring property and had to ask for directions to find Nickys Resort. Its behind thw restaurant over the wooden bridge. The pool is not heated. It had a some dead bugs and small leaves in the pool. Given the trees and wooded area surrounding the ppol, I suspect it is manually cleaned 3 times a week. Towels were kept at the pool in black/yellow plastic tubs. The gate latch was held together with duct tape. The showerhead had amazing pressure, to the point that the shower head was separating and some water was leaking out the side.

We stayed at Nicky's Resort for a couple's weekend getaway to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The contactless check-in was convenient, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. We walked the property and along the edge of the stream. It was nice to see so many options for family fun like the clean swimming pool, putting green, playground, etc.

Restaurant was great!

Such a beautiful place to stay during a quick trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. The room was clean and cozy. It was easy to find and the location was very convenient. I also liked that there was a restaurant next door which also had amazing food.

We had to get in late and there was no problem. Very comfortable and clean. It’s so nice listening to the river as you fall asleep.

Cozy, nicely maintained, accessible amenities. Lovely for a quick getaway near RMNP. Great cocktails at adjoining restaurant. Great to wake up & find a seat overlooking the flowing water.

The room was clean, the restaurant next door had good food, the view was nice, proximity to Estes and the park was awesome for the price. No manager onsite created confusion to get room code. Would stay again.
