ROOM Was nice for price. Gardiner in Sept for morning breakfast is terrible, only 3 places to eat something besides coffee, and they were packed. do no recomend because of that

This hotel had a great view of the river. Need to request top floor though. We only stayed 1 night. Perfect for visiting Yellowstone. Close to entrance.

Located adjacent to the river in Gardiner. Within easy walking distance of many of the area restaurants. A very short drive to the entrance to Yellowstone.
Room was very clean and spacious. Microwave and refrigerator are handy for heating a quick meal before or after visiting the park.
The only negative is the parking lot is not really convenient for all the rooms. Due to the layout we had to walk across the parking lot with our bags. Not too much of a problem when the weather is not but it could be an issue in winter when there is snow or ice.

Great location on river, easy walk to restaurants. AC could not keep up with heat in room on hot days. WiFi weak and drops frequently. Plenty of towels provided daily. Good kitchenette. Friendly, helpful desk staff. Live band outside at nearby restaurant too loud on weekday night until 10p.

All rooms have patios that overlook the Yellowstone River, beds are comfortable, refrigerator & microwave in room, very walkable to restaurants and shops. Great place to stay!

We booked two rooms. Both rooms have insects inside of the rooms and many brownish stains in the ceilings of bathrooms and bedrooms. One lightbulb didn't work in one of the bathrooms and the bathtub in that room seriously blocked from the beginning of the use. The other room's smoke detector started chirping around 3am!!! This property needs a thorough maintenance for the money it charged.

Just an amazing property. Check in was super simple, and made a great recommendation for dinner. By the way Elk cows and calfs hang out between building and river. You are within 15 of your own little herd.

the only thing we did not like was the bugs, we had thousands of little tiny flying bugs that filled the room as we went in and out.

Hello, the views from the rooms are worth staying here all by itself, the rooms were nice and clean, parking was easy and it is a short walk to restaurants. I would stay here again. Thank you.

The view of the mountains and river from our room was excellent. The staff members were cheerful and that is all I expect from staff with limited contact. Added plus was the elk all over the place including at the bottom of the stairwell. I would definitely come back.

Very nice rooms that have been newly renovated. From the looks at other hotels we passed this place was by far the best place to stay for money, the convenience, and cleanliness. Good drop off place to stay at yhr north entrance to Yellowstone.b

Excellent hotel! Loved the Elk roaming on the property. Sat on the patio in the mornings and they were always visiting! Close to park entrance, lots of food choices and shopping. Gas station next door made it very convenient to fill up before entering the park.

Basic cabin. But its location is lovely - balcony overlooks the river. Easy walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. Staff is very friendly.

Right in the Yellowstone River. Can easily walk to restaurants and shopping in one direction and grocery market and our white water rafting adventure in the other direction.
Staff was very accommodating. They help with some recommendations. I recommend the. Kitchenette rooms. They had plenty of room for a family traveling with kids. All rooms had a balcony overlooking the river. We even had an up close encounter with a female elk and her 2 calves in the parking lot.
It was perfect for our last 2 days of our Teton/Yellowstone adventure.

We love staying at the Absaroka Lodge when exploring Yellowstone National Park. The only complaint we have is the bathtub. It is slippery and both my wife and I slipped getting into/out of the tub when taking shower. Keep in mind that over 500,000 accidents occur each year in the bathroom every year with adults over 65. We’d suggest either having a bath mat, grip strips on the floor of the tub or simply replace the bathtubs with showers.

The Lodge was just ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS outside and in! Loved the fire pit and outdoor cooking area. Hot tub was also AWESOME! The inside was so cozy, decorated perfectly and had EVERYTHING we needed! Nice and close to Yellowstone National Park so that was great as well! I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this AMAZING lodge to anyone❤️
