Great location adjacent to the riverfront a block from downtown attractions and restaurants. Staff friendly, room clean and beds good.

A very nice place but definitely showing its age. There is no elevator and the stairway is narrow making it difficult to carry luggage up. Location is perfect.

The place is beautiful and spot less. The continental breakfast could be better. I would extremely recommend this place awesome location in downtown Geand Haven.

The property is very dated. Room rate was way above the value of the room. 2 to 3 stars. It was our honeymoon night. Very disappointed after spending $500 for the room.

The staff were great and welcoming and it was located perfectly between the areas we wanted to visit. The room we had was a little small (other rooms were normal size) and the parking lot was elevated compared to the road so that our car scraped the underside (fyi if you have a low sitting car). Overall minor things, but everything else was great

Very nice inn. Location was great for walkability and beach/lake. Our only complaint was that the pullout sofa in our suite was very uncomfortable for my son, but having it allowed us to all stay together. Our weather ended up being too chilly for beach time, but we walked the pier and enjoyed the many ice cream shops nearby. Loved the musical fountain show.

Great stay in cottage room 3, and we would definitely consider staying here again. PROS: The location was phenomenal; close to the boardwalk, beach, musical fountain, and downtown dining and shopping. We walked almost everywhere we went. Deb at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Coffee in the morning with a light continental breakfast, and more importantly snacks and bottled water available any time. The fireplace and netted tub in the room were nice perks. CONS: These may be a little nitpicky, but maybe someone will find them helpful. Our room didn’t have a fridge, which would have been nice for dining leftovers and beverages. It also could have benefited from a little more storage (luggage rack, dresser). By far, the pros outweigh the cons, and our stay was very positive.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay in room 22. Only complaint is the shower head. The spray is like pins and needles. You can't adjust the setting. Spray to face was like needles,

I love the location of this property. I had a corner room in the front so I could see the river from both sides. It's walkable to shops and restaurants and has a nice parking area. Nice, updated rooms and bathrooms. Very comfortable bed. The only downside is the high price, which might have been partially due to the Coast Guard Fest going on.

Excellent place to stay. I would say the only thing that I’m nit picking is the bathroom fan was quite loud and the bathroom door did not shut all the way. The room was very clean and very nicely decorated with an amazing view! Other than the bathroom it was perfect! Worth the visit and a great place to stay!

Nice room and staff.

New category. It’s a “bed and pop tarts”. Cold breakfast. Was told if I want a hot one I can go down the street. Toaster. But no bread. Granola was cheerios and shredded wheat. Cheese tray was cheddar and motz cheese sticks. $440 /night but great view of the parking lot.

Amazing location! Close and walking distance to everything downtown. The room was clean, great air conditioning and comfortable bed.

We were so thrilled our room had a terrific view of the evening light show!! But you could also see it from the porch. Quaint inn with delicious warm cookies and banana bread! Be aware there is no elevator if you have mobility issues.

It’s really a lovely property. We were greeted by fresh cookies, complimentary snacks and a very welcoming face. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again.

We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The evening's freshly baked cookies were a nice touch as well.

The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom floor was dirty and sticky.

Lovely older house with a very nice wrap around porch (partly screened in). The lake is just across the street. Check in was very easy. We would definitely go back again.

This was our first visit to Grand Haven and we couldn't recommend Harbor House Inn enough. The staff was lovely, property super quiet, very clean, very safe. The room was perfectly cozy.

Guests making noise in hallway well after quiet hours (2:30am), doors to rooms do not seal - so noise in hallways is easy to hear and vice versa. There is also little room, closet space or dresser to hold clothes.
