Wonderful place to stay in its own right. Lovely spacoius room, comfortable and great shower. Breakfast was amaxing everyday. All just perfect and a pleasant change from the busy tourist scene 15 mins away in inverness.

David and Rowena are wonderful hosts, and their house is a real gem. Breakfast was delicious, our rooms were clean (and cleaned daily!) and David and Rowena helpfully shared tips for local areas to explore. We would gladly stay here again!

We enjoyed very much our stay in this place. It is super clean; the bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is amazing with lots of choices; the service is excellent. Everything is stylish and chosen with taste in this place. David and Rowenna are very nice and friendly hosts.

Simply perfect. Lovely house, tasty breakfast. David and Rowena couldn’t have been more welcoming. And when we couldn’t find a working charger in Inverness for our rented EV, David graciously bailed me out! Phew, my wife was ready to kill me (and my great idea of testing the EV experience). Our stay was excellent! David was a gracious host, well versed in local history and information. Breakfast was the perfect start to the day and the room provided the perfect recharging opportunity, quiet and peaceful.

A great spot to stay in Nairn! Conveniently located with free parking. Rooms were lovely and very clean. The hosts were very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. A delicious breakfast was served each morning and tailored exactly to what we wanted. Would highly recommend.

The Tali Ayer is a wonderful B & B. The room is quite large and beautifully decorated with antiques. The bed and bedding are luxurious. The bathroom is phenomenal. Double sinks, a rainforest shower and a deep soaking tub. What more could you ask for. Breakfast also was excellent. Highly recommended if you are in the Nairn area.

Super amazing place. Great location, super clean, great people and amazing breakfast. Upgraded to be new but the home has very traditional touches. One of the best places we stayed on our trip.

Everything about the Tali Ayer was 1st class. We felt extremely welcome and the service was excellent. Breakfast was the royal treatment. The only issue we had was when we booked our room it was not clear we were on the 3rd floor and the ceilings were gabled. I almost knocked myself out when I walked into the ceiling. Regardless I will book again and without reservation recommend Tali Ayer to my family & friends. As we say down South, "They are good folks".

Tali Ayer, is the place to stay if youre in Nairn. The house is full of charm, beautifully furnished, with some South-east Asian flavour (in terms of paintings and statues). David and Rowena are amazing hosts, and both my husband and I adore them so. We can spend hours talking to both of them. Davids wit, both their wealth of stories, and their hospitality are a joy to us this trip. My husband and I went to eat at The Classroom just near Tali Ayer (as recommended by David) and it was absolutely delicious. The room we stayed in was comfortable, and clean as well. Tali Ayer is a short walk through the city center from Nairn beach. Breakfast cooked by Rowena was scrumptious. David ensured everybodys comfort and kept the conversation going when we had breakfast at his handsome, communal table. I just cannot recommend this place enough - David and Rowena are so very lovely, gracious, and helpful. Hope to stay at Tali Ayer again if Im at Nairn - definitely will stay an extra night the next time!

Absolutely the best place I could have possibly stayed at in Scotland. My Hosts were the nicest and most friendly people I have ever met. I felt like I was coming home every day after I returned from my tours and activities. Additionally, the Rail Station is a short 3 minute walk from the home. Neighborhood had plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance. The beach was a 15 minute walk as well..

A beautiful old house with character and charm. The room was beautifully decorated with modern facilities. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We dined at the ‘Old School Room’ located a couple of hundred metres down the road and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We thoroughly recommend the Tali Ayer B&B.
