Great little motel 15 minutes from Acadia. Nothing special, but practical and good value.

Quiet, nice stay away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, yet close enough to easily spend time there or at Acadia. Enjoyed the nightly fire pit time to chat with other guests and wind down for the night. Generous grounds. Surprisingly several options for the grab and go breakfast.

Rooms were small, but comfortable and made excellent use of the space they hade. Very clean. Staff was very nice. Breakfast bag was available and good. Great location especially if you're planning on using different areas of Arcadia.

Damp & crampt.

A cheaper alternative to Bar Harbor, just a few miles away. Easy access to Acadia as well Great Farm to Table Restaurant about 1/4 mile away. Nice staff. Rooms a bit small, but overall would recommend.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Bonfire every night. Perfect grab and go breakfast. Away from the crowd but so close to drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Tiny but perfect!!!

This was our first visit to Bar Harbor and our stay was made that much more enjoyable because of our stay at Belle Isle. The staff was courteous and friendly. The pool was clean and accessible. The room was the same as advertised. We will definitely come back to this motel.

King size room was real nice

Basic older motel but clean and comfortable for the most part. Bathroom was very small and property was a little further from Bar Harbor than we would have liked. economical option for travellers going to Acadia National Park.

Staff here was incredibly accommodating, and we found the value to be 100% worth it. Convenient location, with lots of good restaurants nearby. Made our visit to Acadia national Park a breeze.

Small room, but clean and quiet

We got a single room with one bathroom. The room was very simple, with a very comfortable bed, a mini fridge, and a desk with a chair. Not a lot of storage to unpack, so we just didn’t. The bathroom could fit 1 person at a time, with a standing shower and super small toilet cubby. The sink didn’t drain well, so it got backed up and really messy within a day. The door rattled with any movement, and had gaps around the edges so light and sound came through pretty easy. The ladies at the receptionist area were all very nice and accommodating, and the breakfast ordering was a good idea. We did not have the cleaning crew come in at all during our stay, so we can’t attest to any of that. The ground maintenance was kept up really nicely, the pool was clean, the lawn was mowed, etc. The motel was around 15 minutes from the center of Bar Harbor, so the drive was quick and convenient. We didn’t use any shuttles, but the parking in town was very affordable. Would definitely travel to this town again. Might not stay at this exact motel considering there were so many others that seemed a little more modern.

Expensive at 300/ night. Water wasn’t hot for a shower, towels never dried and couldn’t get dry ones, no where to hang anything, old, tired and under staffed, screen door to office half off. Can’t recommend it.

Place was perfect for my needs. My only complaint is that the room smelled strongly of cleaner.

Great place to stay for a few nights. Very clean, friendly staff, clean pool, nice little building with ice, washer and dryers, and games for the kids. We would surely go back again.

This was a great spot to spemd to nights on the island and pretty close to everything. They dont offer a hot breakfast, instead they give you a wide range of options in a bag that you pick up on the office amd bring back to your room or eat out on picnic tables. Their is a microwave in the community room theybyoubare able to use. I only wish you didnt have to wait until 8 am to get the food. But otherwise a delightful stay. Thank you

We loved our stay here! We had our dog with us and stayed 3 nights. The staff is great. We used the $2/load laundry and had breakfast every morning. You have to turn in a paper form for breakfast to order what you’d like (bagel, cereal, drink, etc) - and you pick it up between 8-10am in the morning. It’s in a paper bag which makes it super convenient to grab and go on a hike! The pool is nice and they start a campfire on nice nights. So homey! The outdoor space is awesome - we had so much green space to walk and play with our dog. Highly recommend this cute motel!

This is a nice place to stop while in the area. The walls were a bit thin, so it was not very quiet. We could hear the person in the next room snoring, and people walking around outside while we were trying to sleep. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Great all around experience. Very pleasant staff, and the pool was great!

The room upon entrance smelled musty. Located next to the main highway noise was a problem. Even though the room was non-smoking the couple next door smoked sitting next to our room which filtered into our room. The property was very dated. I would not recommend this property. I am a little surprised Expedia has it as a destination.

The rooms were small, but they were very clean and comfortable. The staff took care of everything and Tom made sure that we had a campfire every night.

Great quick stay for tagging along a business trip my husband took. Loved that it's dog friendly. The fire in the evening was magical.

We got a queen bed room and it was just enough space for me and my wife. The bathroom was too small and we could hardly fit in but it was clean. Overall we had a pleasant stay during our visit to Acadia. Things that could be improved: 1. The breakfast is a take out and not your usual dine-in buffet style, and the food is served frozen and there's only microwave to warm up the food is in a laundry room which I think can be changed in the future. 2. We had to pre-order our breakfast by filling out a form, which can be hassle if you're in a rush, may be they can provide their customers with a google form that can be filled online? 3. The wifi in our room was very spotty, and the connection kept dropping. Given there's poor mobile reception in the area, having a good wifi connection is a key, so this can be improved as well.

Very very tiny rooms...Like a tree fort or campout space. Refurbished to be almost OK but very very teenie.... NOT worth the price, Skip this for the price and camp out!!

I would have hoped the soap dispenser would have soap in other than that i still give a great score.
