Excellent stay, would highly recommend

1.Parking arrangement was terribly with the owner casually stating that a manual and somewhat dilapidated gate (bear in mind poor street lighting near gate) be closed each time guests leave the property. 2.Owner also asked on more than one occasion about departure time, with his only intention being to reinforce a prompt departure at or b4 11 am

I loved this place: a 10 min walk to a quiet sandy beach and a view of the jetty, where I bought fresh fish right from the boats. Winston & Nikki were great and helpful. The restaurant next door was an added bonus.I will definitely return.

Pros and cons from a seasoned traveler. Pros: amazing waterside location. The guest house is located directly above the local fishing pier, so you can watch people come and go all day, unload and clean their fish. It is a short walk to Buccoo beach, which is incredible. There's about 4 restaurants, 4 bars and a few walk-up counters that are walking distance to Miller's. Bring cash! No ATM in the village. Great town, great location. The cons: you have to be okay with noise. This town is noisy. At any given time, you will be listening to multiple sources of music from all over the village. It's not Miller's fault, I think that's just the culture in the Carribbean. There was a constant house party on the deck of the house next door, which is about 10 feet from the back window of where I stayed. They turned off the music around 11pm which was fine because I was up that late anyway. The room I stayed in adjoins another room, and you can hear through the door as if they are inside your room, so as long as they have the same schedule as you, you'll be fine. Also, if you are coming to Buccoo, you should already know that there is a big party on Sunday that last through until 4am, which is close enough that you will be able to clearly hear it. It is an AMAZING party, and I joined in and was out until 2:30am. Afterwards I was tired enough to sleep through the rest of the party! Overall, I would highly recommend this place, just bring earplugs and you'll be fine!!

My husband enjoyed almost daily discussions with Winston, the owner. Michelle, in particular was very friendly and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. T

The walk straight down to the beach is nice, however, what I didnt like is that the restaurant has the weirdest hours ever!

This property is cozy and about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The sea view is nice, but the room isn't as high up as it appears in photos. The restaurant, however, is weird. We had lunch and when we tried to order certain items, we were told it was for dinner only. We ordered other items and said we'll be back for dinner anyway. Uhmmmm.... dinner didn't happen! We went for drinks and dinner and the restaurant was closed! It was just weird.

I really love the location of this guesthouse, the owner is very personable and friendly, the guesthouse was everything I needed on this trip minus the on site restaurant but from my understanding it’s under renovation, can’t wait because the seafood will be fresh out the ocean. I absolutely love the town, it’s not crowded with people and the locals are very friendly, made me feel like I was home in my own village. I’ll definitely come back with the kids.

It was very quiet there since I came during the off-season. But they took good care of me during a tropical storm we experienced during my stay.

I didn't realize how loud it was (you could hear it very clearly in the room) and it goes until 4-5 in the morning. However, the room itself was nice. The Wi-Fi was very spotty.

I like the calmness Closeness to the sea, that Buccoo have a typical village feeling The staff are smiling and friendly. Unfortunately a few of the staff at the restaurant was not!The restaurant is separate but that’s were you go for afternoon drink and dinner!

As compared to higher priced guest houses I’ve stayed at in Tobago, Miller’s was top of the line for our purposes. We had two rooms and were both comfortable and pleased with our stay. A few years ago I stayed at a guest house closer to the places I needed to be, but the cost of that place has doubled, so it was great to find the right price and be near the water. Driving an extra 10 minutes each way was well worth it. Thanks Winston!

The property is good for a one nighter or just a place to rest your head for a backpacker. I wouldn't recommend a family stay. Nice view by the sea. Price is great however do not expect the hotel experi nce. Just to not it's a good option for a nights rest. Staff is friendly and curtious.

Winston was kind and accommodating and the patio was worth the price of admission alone. Buccoo is a sweet village and I’m so glad I stayed here and at Miller’s Guesthouse. I booked 2 nights but ended up staying a third. Bring bug spray as I was bitten a bunch but didn’t use the air con, so that was on me. They even accommodating me taking a shower before departing for the airport. A great stay. I’d come back!

The best value we found was in the attached restaurant, though entrees still typically started at about $20USD.All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Miller’s Guest House if you are in the area.

For the price and view by the restaurant was awesome. The owner was very accommodating. It could use some minor updates and the parking was a tight fit. If you're wanting to have plenty of money for activities then this's the Perfect plac. Winston was a true very pleasant man!!!!

Take the Panorama room. Nice to be at a small guesthouse in a little local village, where there still are 3 fine restaurants, one at the guesthouse We had no cleaning the 4 days we stayed there They only accept cash and there is no ATM in the village Good price, but be prepared to stay in a room, which needs some renovation. Aircondition fine.

Rustic hotel behind restaurant that fronts the bay. Amenities not as described by Expedia. No housekeeping. No toiletries. Warm water in shower but not much pressure. Small bar fridge that froze everything. Manager not particularly friendly. Fronts beautiful buccoo bay. Able to buy fresh filleted fish off the boats. There is a communal kitchen to cook but you need to provide everything and not allowed to use the fridge in the kitchen. No tourist information provided. Need to ask for a blanket & pay extra for a beach towel. Room is very small and basic and bed very hard & uncomfortable. Has a rustic charm and with friendlier and more welcoming staff could be a winner. You definitely need a car as there is little transport on the island. WiFi didn’t work in the rooms. Not great reception on television. There are better options available for less money
