The television in the living area was at right angles to the lounge. It also sat approx. 1.8 metres above the floor making it even harder to watch when sitting on the lounge. The parking was on grass. No concrete. The main bed was not the greatest in comfort

Our cabin was perfect for what we needed, had heater/aircon, hot water and kitchen facilities. The area around is quiet and safe with plenty of food options a short drive away

A lower cost accommodation option like the standard 6 bed cabin means we lowered our expectations. The cabin was ok though it showed many signs of needing some upgrading and maintenance attention. Everything worked as it should apart from the air conditioner which could only be turned on by standing on a stool and turning it on at the wall. The remote would not communicate with the unit and I suspect it was because the unit was operating in limp mode due to the very clogged filter. This can also result in poor ventilation and is probably a health hazard. There were also spider webs on windows above the bunks - which would be a worry for children. A wind-stopper along the base of the entry door should be standard. Some basic attention to the car park next to the unit (and every other one we saw i the park) to enable customers to move from car to cabin without mud on the shoes would also help reduce mud inside the cabin. These are all basic maintenance issues that should not need a customer to point out. Otherwise we loved our stay in Warnambool.

Was great for a short stay , close to parks and the ocean.

Have stayed in a number of places in Warrnambool and this is definitely one of the best! Motel and cabin accommodation is always clean and has all the facilities for self-catering which is important for us.

Could only hear loud road noise only in unit Staff was helpful and knowledgeable Unit was clean on arrival- heater worked well as winter - tv worked well - bunk bed was hard mattress- lots of pillow options Exhaust fan was not working in unit notified desk once leaving and was to be added to repair list Rock on road which had fallen out of garden in front of unit which was not tended to whilst there

Good value for money accommodation, would have been happy to have given 5 stars however requested a room in a quiet area but was given one opposite the entrance to the park which was probably the noisiest area, apart from that was very happy with the standard of accommodation for the price being charged

stayed for 3 nights in a motel room and it had everthing we needed for some self catering and comfortable nights sleeps

Lovely clean cabin. Location excellent. Walk around lake into town, beach and scenery nearby. Next to the incredible adventure park. Beautiful town.

It was really close to beach and kids parks

Had a problem with my accommodation which the staff immediately rectified to the extent I was very impressed. They couldn't do enough to help me out and ensure I was comfortable. Very friendly when out in the park - waved and chatting. Was so impressed with all the great walking trails along the coast. Sunset walks around to Thunder Point was stunning. Close by to Port Campbell where there is also great cliff top walking track. Had a day in Portland and spotted a couple of whales in the bay, and lots more walking at Cape Nelson and Cape Breakwater (Great South West Walk)

Discovery Park Warnambool was great, the room was large, bathroom was very clean and spacious, bed very comfortable. Had all the facilities required to eat in if we wanted, plenty to see and do close to the park, even when wet we had a great time, very large place, had everything you needed and very clean in all areas of the park. Staff very friendly and approachable. Lots of under cover area outside to do things in the cold or the heat. will return and also tell friends.
