This hotel was enjoyable, very clean. The breakfast bar was excellent, and it was extremely close to all kinds of shopping easy to get into an out of and plenty of parking available.

We travel often because of sports. The manager Jeremy noticed there were a lot of ball teams staying, so he took it upon himself to alter the breakfast times so that the kids with early morning games wouldn’t miss out on a nutritious breakfast. That goes above what is asked of him and it is greatly appreciated!

The room and bathroom were cleaned. It was very easy to connect to WiFi. The staffs were friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious. The area was very quiet and I felt very safe.

We stayed overnight while we were in town for a wedding, and it took a while for us to check-in due to their change in computer system. This almost made me late to the wedding. The staff was very apologetic, however I contacted the front desk the night prior to arrival and was told that I could check-in an hour early. Otherwise the room and breakfast was sufficient for our overnight stay.

First night was fine but second night the ac broke. Hotel was full and tho it wasn’t hot outside the room was very stuff. The guy at front desk said they are old units and will be replaced next year. It made for a very unpleasant nights rest after a long day.

I had a wonderful stay, and the hotel was beautifully kept. Only issue I had was that the WiFi was not working and I never had access to it during my stay. Otherwise everything was perfect. I highly recommend this stop. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I was greeted every time I walked in the lobby.

We arrived in Thanksgiving Day. There were NO restaurants or grocery stores open in Lafayette or Broussard. The hotel could have offered at least a few decent food options, e.g. sandwiches, fruit. It is very difficult to access the hotel due to reportedly long-term road construction. We had several broken items in our room: toilet with low water level allowing sewer gas to escape & inadequate flushing, battery failure on the door locking device such that our room key & the master key didn’t work, electrical outlet in bathroom seemed to have a short in it. Staff were not particularly friendly. As a Hilton Honors member, I was rather disappointed with our 4 night stay.

This hotel is very clean. The people at the check in desk were friendly and efficient. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was easily adjusted for our comfort. The breakfast was good with several choices. We spoke with one of the workers at breakfast and she was very friendly. We would definitely use this hotel again.

The room smelled of mildew so bad we couldnt handle it. The floor was so soft my daughter almost fell threw (our room was on the 3rd floor). The hall noise was so loud that it sounded like the people were talking in our room.

Phenomenal hotel. My only negative is the bathroom doors. If you want any privacy, stay somewhere else. Barn door with huge gap (in both rooms we stayed in). Absolutely cannot poop without a potential audience. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s a great place.

Everything was excellent except for the a/c worked great both nights except during the wee hours if the morning. For some reason it would blow but not cool. Also breakfast was great except coffee is not hot enough!! As usual at nearly all hotels take your own pillow!!

Road construction in the area caused us to go around in circles a few times. Hopefully it'll be done soon. Ready access to the Albertsons' shopping center and activities in the area, though. Wish there was a bar!

Everything was perfect. I was very comfortable and felt very safe during my stay. The front desk clerk took the time to explain to me how to get to my destination through the parking lots with all the construction going on. It was my first trip to Broussard.

I booked a month in advanced and the day of my arrival I get a call that their is a water pressure issue on the 4th floor and the issue is being fixed and should be done the next day by 9am. They sent us to the best western for the night we were exhausted so fine we go. In the morning the front desk told me your rates will be adjusted because best western was cheaper than Hampton. I call Hampton and they said well your room won’t be ready until after 11 (clearly someone lied) I get there the manager is super disrespectful and telling me to not give her an attitude because she won’t give me a room at all!! Then tells me to cancel my stay through Expedia so she can give me a different hotel I didn’t do this and decided to wait for a room the next day I requested my room to be serviced and they told me it couldn’t be serviced unless I requested it the day prior (the manager told me it could get serviced whenever I wanted) and I did request it in advanced but they couldn’t find the “note”. The power went out the 3rd day for a couple of hours and according to the staff it happens quite often. our last night the front desk was recording our group in the lobby children included. This hotel was a nightmare I will never book here ever again because of their mistake I didn’t have a full day of hotel and had to keep my luggage in the car and they said my stay didn’t start until 3 pm the day after my booking date on Expedia they are rude disrespectful they refused to reimburse me

First off i checked in on a Friday at 3pm and my room wasnt ready. You can say you have a 3pm check in and not have any rooms available. Then when my room is finally available, i get locked out of it. First 3 times the changed my key then finally i requested to be moved to another room because obviously the door is broken. A worker comes to look at the door. He changed all 4 batteries and said it would bow work. We finally get into our room to settle for the night to find bugs in my bed! I go back downstairs to have housekeeping come to change everything to my surprise no ine but this 1 guy was working. The hotel was booked solid no other rooms were available. So i had to change the nasty bed myself and he only gave me sheets to sleep on. Didnt even have the ability to give me a new comforter. The next morning we wake up go down for breakfast.after that we head right back up stairs to find out that we are locked out again. 4 hours later maintenance shows up to let me in my room. I was locked out of my room 5/6 hours in a 24 hour period. Next day...i wake up and find the refrigerator is not working. I lost around $60 worth of food. Another day of sitting around waiting for maintenance to come and fix the problem. Also as I'm sitting around waiting. I cant even watch TV because the TVs were out in the entire hotel for over 2 days! This has been the worst hotel stay i have ever had!

Our room floor was sticky. On Day 2 we returned from a funeral to fund that hotel staff had removed the air conditioner to clean it, leaving the room hot with a opening to the outside. We could not rest after the funeral and were forced to leave the room. Hotel staff acted like it was no big deal. 35 years of travel and have never had the hotel remove the ac unit. Seams like something that could have been done when the room was vacant. I am looking for a refund

I travel for work, a lot, staying in hotels sometimes 3-4 times a week, literally around the US. We often or mostly check in after midnight. Rooms are always booked through expedia earlier in the night. This front desk woman was the rudest and least accommodating that I have ever met. I felt like I was completely ruining her night by simply showing up. Then when we left in the morning (prior to 8am, her and the other manager were opening and loudly arguing by the front desk) just gross but not surprising with her attitude.
Our load got delayed and we ended up needing another night in the area…we went and stayed elsewhere.
