I town with a group of relatives for a burial. We all stayed with The Hobit and were treated with the greatest of respect and top service. Thank you for great accommodation again. Look forward to our next stay.

Very nice little motor lodge. Very welcoming staff and very clean. Linen and furniture is a little tired, but aside from that it's a very good spot to spend the night between Wellington and Auckland

This was an average 3 star motel in a good location. The price was right! The bed was one of the worst I've slept on but the room was clean. You can hear your next door neighbours.

An older property that has been kept up nicely. Very friendly staff and clean comfy room. Very quiet area in town and a short drive to restaurants.

The bunk beds were so creaky I thought I was going to squash my friend sleeping on the bottom and the room smelt a bit weird, but other than that the bathrooms were all very clean and the reception lady was very nice

the staff not only gave us the keys, but also walked us to the unit to show us exactly where it was. The room was spacious for the four of us (parents plus 2 teenagers)

A nice place to stay in Ohakune, good for our family overnight stay during a road trip.

We had the family suite, which had a kitchenette and spa bath. The kitchen was amazing for cooking full meals - although lighting over the kitchen needs to be improved. The spa bath was a hit with all skiers and kids a like.

The room was basic but exactly what I needed. Beds were comfortable and warm and the heater in the room was just enough. Shared bathroom was clean and showers were awesome.kitchen was clean and had everything I needed. This place also has the most amazing drying room for your wet ski gear. Only small issue was bunk bed was a bit squeaky. Would defo stay again.

We had a spacious room with spa bath for the kids and a shower with wonderful pressure - great after a day up the mountain! Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to rebook!

This is a good old-fashioned motel. Not flash, but has everything you need for a very reasonable price. We stayed in the bunk rooms and the beds were comfortable enough. Bedding was provided so this was one less thing to worry about. The bathroom facilities were shared, but the showers were hot and the water pressure was good. To top it off, WiFi was provided.

The room is clean and spacious. The kitchen was cool as well. The host is very nice and helpful. I can’t think you need to consider the other place in this area. 100% perfect!
