I would recommend the Eumundi Gridley Homestead as a beautiful retreat for couples with tranquil surroundings and plenty of fresh air.

My partner and I stayed at this property for one night, during our stay we felt quite uncomfortable. We were under the suspicion that someone had entered our room while we were out. Upon our return ( approx an hour) we noticed that our drinks in the fridge had been rearranged. We chose not to address the issue and continued with our stay hoping that it was just a "suspicion" and misunderstanding. We chose the breakfast option which was served between 7:30am -8:30am, we had asked to eat our breakfast on the shared balcony to enjoy the mountain views. Whilst waiting for our breakfast and enjoying the views, the host closed the doors due to the small amount of draft that was entering into the shared dinning room, we completely understood and agreed. We got up to go inside to find we had been locked outside, we attempted twice to enter hoping that it was perhaps a mistake, it wasn't, another guest had to leave their breakfast to unlock the door and let us inside, this further, added to our uncomfortably. Breakfast was delicious and the homstead was stunning, however we won't be returning or recommending.

We had a nice, quiet night away from the kiddies. The property was beautiful and calm. It was exactly what we needed.

Excellent hosts, very clean and comfortable rooms in beautifully renovated historic building. Food tasty and generous servings. Great location, close to Eumundi markets and walking distance to restaurants and pub while still quiet and peaceful. Would thoroughly recommend. Thanks Louise and Marlo.

Louise and Marko were asking hosts. So friendly and approachable and helpful. Their property is gorgeous and so tranquil with a view of a valley. Very close to the Eumundi Markets which is walkable.

From start to finish - the delicious afternoon tea provided and the bountiful breakfasts, it was very relaxing and cosy.Even though it rained non stop while we were there, the cabin felt like a home away from home. It was comfortable and cosy, with a beautiful view.We will be back again for sure.The hosts - Louise and Marco are delightful and very welcoming.

We checked in and the owner immediately made us feel very welcome. The bedrooms are nice with ensuite. We had booked without breakfast as we had to leave very early (5am) to connect up with our friends locally.Very easy and convenient stay, try out the Italian place “Il Mio Posto” which is in easy walking distance or the Eumundi Gin Distillery on the other side of the road.

great location near town can walk to markets and to get dinner. Hosts are lovely and the rooms are beautiful and beds are super comfy.

We had a wonderful night at Gridley Homestead B&B. The accommodation was delightful, the location & surroundings spectacular, and Louise & Marko were quintessential hosts. We highly recommend a stay here.

I liked the separate cabin, the peace and quiet of the area.

Lovely spot on outskirts of Eumundi, but still within walking distance of centre of town. It is full of character and history and the brekkie (cooked by Marko) is second to none! Louise is the hostess with the mostest. Will definitely sing both of their praises and stay again!
