Quiet, clean nice smelling room. Micro and fridge all clean.grounds pretty. Close by was nice rib restaurant.

We weren't expecting much as it was the cheapest place around. Check-in was the best part of the experience. The clerk was friendly, processed our registration quickly and gave us the key. When we entered Room 4, it was stifling. I found the window A/C and turned it on. Pretty noisy unit but it eventually cooled the room down. I later found out that the fridge was set on maximum and was running constantly. The room and (very) basic furnishings were tidy but I wouldn't say spotless. The bed was quite uncomfortable being hard and springy at the same time. Like the A/C, it was also noisy. To make a trifecta of noise-makers, the bathroom fan turns on the light switch. My wife says it sounded it sounded like a tractor. I guess we got what we paid for. We won't be returning but if you're on a budget and a heavy sleeper, this might work for you.

property was close to our venue, price was good, staff was excellent.

Place needs some updates. Small ones would make a huge difference! Outlet covers were all broken, bed was higher at foot then head, felt like you were constantly falling to the middle, 2 pillows, chair was broken, shower curtain was dirty and stuck together, doors around handles were dirty, no extra blankets, no iron, no toiletries,no extra toilet paper (1ply) On the positive side.. fridge was good working (looked new) had microwave ( didn't use) window air conditioner which work well, TV and remotes ok.

The room was exceptionally clean. Payment straightforward and information accurately and professionally supplied. Ideal end to a long day of driving.

We checked in and then went to our event without really checking out the room. When we came back at 2:00 a.m. someone had parked infront of our room. The smell of disinfectant was so strong it hurt your lungs & burnt your eyes. The bed creaked & springs popped at every move, very uncomfortable. There was a gross white stain on the top blanket and on the underside of it had cigarette burn holes. The top sheet, fitted sheet and the pillows had some sort of red stain. We aired it out the best we could were freezing but we refuse to climb under the covers even though we were exhausted from the two and a half hour drive to get there and the event we attended. In the middle of the night we used towels to get warm but when we woke in the morning we discovered black stains which looked like dried blood all over them. The room was extremely dirty, the bathroom door had visible dirt all over it from people's hands. We left very early & called back later to explain how disgusted we were. We were told we should have woke them if we were unsatisfied but they obviously had to know how bad it was and still gave it to us anyway. We didn't need that kind of conflict at 2:00 a.m. In the morning we discovered that when the fridge came on the microwave display blinked rapidly as if there was some kind of short & the baseboard heaters were all falling apart. A very disgusting room & 4 hours later people could still smell the disinfectant on us.

The sheets looked like they hadn’t been washed/new and there was dirt and dust all over the heaters and the bathroom. The shower head was filthy and the bathroom didn’t look clean, we were not comfortable taking a shower

It was a place to sleep

Poor bed linens, space heater needed, base boards not working, over priced, no amenities, inadequate furnishings.

There is not a lot of choice for accommodations in Paris, ON. Our first choice was hosting a wedding and did not have any rooms available. So we booked a room at Davidson's Motel. The staff were polite and responded quickly when we asked for towels and pillows, however, our room was in dire need of some repair and cleaning.

The bed is comfortable. Owners are friendly. The room is ok for a single person but too small for a couple. Price was reasonable.

Certainly not what’s shown in the pics. First look makes you check the sheets. Spread was dirty with cigarette burns. Towels had been washed but were grey and 50 years old. No coffee pot. Room was the size of a shoe box literally. Window was dirty. Toilet was for kindergarten kids. On the positive side the air conditioner worked well. Frig was clean and worked.

The manager of the motel was there upon arrival. We asked if we could switch our room to two beds. He said yes but would charge us $20 more. I asked to see the room first. He showed us the room and it was not fit to stay in. Very old and smelly. I told him we could not stay and asked if my card had been charged. He said no it had not and that it was okay if we could not stay. Three hours after we left and had got another hotel, he charged my card for the room. When I called him about it said he had to because Expedia was going to charge him. This man lied to us and charged us for a room that was not fit to stay in. I would not recommend this Motel to anyone.

Liked that it was close to highway and affordable. Rooms really need an upgrade. Bathroom not very pleasant to look at. Chair in sitting area was really stained, didn't want to sit down in it.

An older motel that has been well maintained. Well priced.

Although the website clearly states that there is air conditioning....they take them out for the winter. This is perfectly understandable, but I stayed two nights near the end of May. The daytime temperatures were over 25C. I asked about it the second morning and was told that they would install one for me. I arrived back to my room at 1:30am. It was too hot to sleep and although I was very uncomfortable having to keep the curtain open to try to allow some air to get in the open window, it really didn't cool off much. When I complained to staff at checkout I was told there was nothing they could do for me. They said I should have asked for a fan. I maintain that if the property is not going to have a/c for part of the year that should be advertised on the website.

Staff was nice but the place needs spring cleaning inside and outside. It was a cool night otherwise would have been hot and stuffy since there was not air conditioning. I would not take a shower there since the shower curtain was disgusting.

The owners were nice and helpful, cute spot. Room was dirty but the windows were open and it’s a country setting so whatever. Pest free. I think my only issue was no in room a/c control and thin walls. We couldn’t get netflix to work but wasn’t expecting it so didn’t matter (we didn’t ask for help either we just watched cable). We had cigarette burns on the sheets too but for $80/night we weren’t expecting a 5star. We would stay there again.

With it still being a bit cold out I was hoping the room would have been warmer. Plus a small thing like a stopper in the bath tub would have been nice as That was a reason for me getting a room was to take a nice long hot bath. Other than that the person I talked to and who booked me in was very friendly

The man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this motel.

Very basic, no hooks or hangars for hanging coats in the room and no hooks in the bathroom. No temperature controls in the room so it was 28 degrees in December. Fortunately we were able to open a window. The towels were greyish and the toilet paper scratchy. The bed was quite comfortable. The room was quiet and dark so we slept well all three nights, once the temperature cooled down. It was pretty much what we expected for the price that we paid and it suited our needs. It was close to Brantford and had restaurants nearby for breakfast. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy.

This motel was in a prefect area for what i needed, but was very rundown, unkempt, the sheets and towels were clean but stained, the room was very small, and in much need of remodeling. With some effort and updating i think it would get much higher ratings. I only stayed one night, i do know the walks are very thin, and in need of soundproofing.

the property is in desperate need of updating, in terms of decorating, sheets on bed were threadbare, nothing in the bathroom but a bar of soap, toilet paper roll close to empty and no new rolls in room, no bedside clock which many places provide, the TV service provided was of no interest in the choice of channels, walls very thin and could hear much noise in next room almost to midnight.

3 star motel which is fine and what we expected. The room was clean and suitable for our one night stay, however the beds were double and not queen as advertised. The desk has seen better days and the chair was stained, but the sheets and towels were clean and there was plenty of hot water.

I liked the location for my local sport fishing .

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience staying here. I believe there is long term tenants living here but it did not interfere with our stay at all. Room was very clean, beds extremely comfortable. My only advice to the owners would be to purchase new towels. I did ask to exchange mine and they accommodated my request immediately and with a smile. Yes, I would stay here again.

Motel was clean and staff was very friendly. Location was convenient to Hwy. 403 and Brantford.

The owners were friendly. We like the early check in. We’ll be back.
