Unique place, very close to the the Là Spezia station, just steps. Great price. Room is spacious, clean, mattress very comfortable.

I was extremely hesitant to reserve an accommodation with so few reviews... but I am SO glad that I did! The location to everywhere (including a very short walk from the rail station) was perfect and safe. The room was exactly as described in the listing with big soft towels, super comfortable bed, etc. Really happy with this stay! Thank you, Joss!

Very personable and kind welcome from Beatrice

The stay was great, but it was Beatrice who really set this stage apart from the rest. Beatrice went above and beyond to to help us with some complications we encountered along the way that she had no obligation to get involved in. But when asking for her assistance in communicating with someone with whom we were having a language barrier, she stepped in and became our “problem solver.” Due to her efforts, she really made the difference in our vacation. Beatrice is a real gem!

When booking I didn't read the entire description nor look up what "affitticamere" meant (room for rent), so I was a bit surprised when we arrived. However, after that we had a great experience. It has cooking utensils, dishes, a stove, tea pot, fridge and a nice sized dine-in table for two people. Kind of funky (which was great), very clean, friendly staff, and our contact person was easy to get a hold of and help us out with whatever we needed. La Spezia has a bigger city vibe, and somewhat of a hub for people heading to the more touristy spots, which made this location perfect for us to jump from site seeing to coming back to the room with some snacks purchased from the market in the plaza with ease. It was nice feeling like we were in actual Italy vs. tourist Italy. If we come back to La Spezia in the future we would stay here again.

We stayed in la spezzia for 4 nights using the hotel as our base for accessing the cinque Terre each day. It was very difficult to locate the hotel and to get access to our room as there is no staff in attendance at any time. Easy to sort out if you have a phone which we did not have. The room is Ok if you like concrete. There were no glasses for drinking but the fridge worked well. Breakfast was across the piazza and it was very ordinary.

These are rented rooms in a flat. Each room has its own door, and you have a key to the front door. The rooms are cleaned daily and linen is changed daily. There is an electric kettle in the room plus TV and good free internet. It's close to the station facing a lovely square.

I did not expect to find a place this nice. The room was immaculate, and simply yet sharply decorated. The bed and pillows (it's the small things!) were very comfortable. And I had a phenomenal view. I even stayed an extra night. The staff were amazing. I can't say enough. I definitely recommend it!
