The hot tub was really dirty, a ring of scum and dirt floating. The room was fine, very quiet, it would be nice to have flooring instead of the old carpet. When our room was made up, we didn’t get more shampoo and coffee and had to ask for these things.
The shining star is the restaurant attached to the motel. Very reasonable prices and great food with friendly service.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.The attached restaurant had friendly staff;great food and very afforable prices.The room could use some updating ;fresh paint and replace carpeting with hardwood.Lighting could be a bit brighter and updated as well.Toilet was very low.Should be replaced with a higher level toilet which is way better for older folks.The beds were extremely comfortable .We would certainly go back to Travelodge in Port Elgin again.

This motel was 100 times better than another local motel we stayed at last year. Room was clean and the front desk girls were nice. The only negative thing was our mini fridge wasn't cleaned; it had brown liquid in it. My husband cleaned with some paper towels so we could use the fridge.

Very run down, no clocks in the rooms whatsoever, room not ready past check in time, asked for a wake up call - not done. Only there for ball tournament nearby. Would not return.

The service and staff were great, but the property itself is VERY old and rundown. Our room smelled like cigarettes and mildew. There was no bathroom fan, just an open hole in the ceiling. The bathroom tap was leaking and had a cloth placed to stifle the noise from the drip. Would not stay here again unless there were some major renovations.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Was pleasantly surprised. Liked the fact they offer 2 queen beds and not double size. With a family of 4, you need the extra space. Would stay there again.

Check is was very friendly. Room was fine. everything seemed tired and in need of updating. Upon check in the floor had not been cleaned and felt gritty with sand. There was nowhere to really relax outside. Each room had two plastic chairs ouside the door, and a can for cigarette buts which was rarely cleaned out. An attempt has been been made to update the pool area, but left unfinished, and the hot tube had debris floating in it. For the price I paid, I was expecting a cleaner and more ut to date room.

We were very pleased with how clean and welcoming this hotel was. The staff was friendly. We were given all the extra amenities that we requested. The hot tub hours were extended for another hour for us. Would recommend this hotel.

There was a bad smell in our room with flies. It looks like it was recently renovated. Felt like a motel, I’m not sure why I thought it would be of higher quality

Beds and bedding was fine. Washroom clean. The old stained carpet was a real turn off. I wish the carpets were removed and new flooring put in. Would look and feel so much cleaner.

We booked a room for 4 people and only had 1 small shampoo in the bathroom. The room was large and clean. The pool and hot tub are nice and seem newly renovated but there are NO towels in the pool which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, a nice stay.

The air conditioner is loud, turns on and off all night, and doesn't work well. This is NOT a hotel, it's a motel, one window is on the parking lot and the other directly into someone's back yard. Says pool opens at 8am but in fact it doesn't open until 10am. There are only two chairs in a room for 4 people. It's clean enough, but not very comfortable or enjoyable, hardly worth the high price we paid for it.

Very big room, new floor, bathroom, TV, and comfy bed/pillows. Microwave did not work, and coffee machine very small with not long enough plug….no where to plug in on counter either.
