Great location. Room is basic but clean and charming. Great hospitality from staff Michael and Kimberly. Will go back again.

Michael, Kimberley, and Danielle were excellent hosts. It was easy to upgrade. My room was very clean and comfortable. My purpose was to rest and regroup. Great to have clothing optional and a pool.

Had a fantastic weekend spent here!

If you are looking for a relaxed get-away, The Woods is a good choice. With a heated pool, a mixture of private cabins and rooms surrounding it, and five-minute walks for breakfast, lunch, dinner, groceries and gifts, its an uncomplicated sort of way to enjoy a weekend. There are a bunch of destinations around it like the river, a very scenic drive to the coast, and redwood forests all around.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The room was small but ok in size. The bed was terrible, it was so soft that one of us fell out during the night and we are not large. The air condition unit is louder than a jet engine taking off.

I've stayed there many times because I always enjoy my time there.

Everything was great. The only thing was I couldn't get the TV Cable to work. Since I was up there to rest, I didn't want to make an issue of it.

Prefect location! Can walk to the river and restaurants! The pool was lovely with ample seating and umbrellas. The landscaping is somewhat of a marvel! So pretty!!They could upgrade their mattresses and pillows- for $250 a night, I’m hoping to sleep in a comfortable bed.

Overall I enjoyed staying at The Woods Hotel; it looks like they are in the process of renovating parts of the property, kudos for the management; decent price and very friendly guests; I could have used some help bringing up my luggage, but then again, I didn't ask; there were some areas that needed some obvious sprucing up, but overall it was neat and clean; a small table in the room to eat on would be a nice addition. I would definitely stay again. Very walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. I'm LGBT so the fact that most, not all, but most other guests were LGBT made the visit more enjoyable. Two popular gay bars are also within walking distance. I enjoyed visiting nearby quant towns. Overall the area is a bit rustic, not a high end area, but a great escape from the noise of the city, and close to San Francisco too, only a 1.5 hour drive.

The property was old and run down, probably the victim of age, frequent floods and the pandemic. The room was small and crowded but adequate for our needs. The town of Gueneville is also rundown and hardly a resort town to justify the cost of the room. I've stayed at worst places but no many

My stay was comfortable, everything was pretty clean. Hotel look a little run down but everything was working and efficient, location was great in town.

Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Renovated room. View from room. The abundance of blooming rose bushes around the pool. The surrounding redwoods. The abundant sunshine. The pool area with lots of chaise longues. Nice manager for check-in. The untidiness of the entrance way was the only sore point, but untidiness around the edges seems typical of Guerneville in general.

Warm welcome as we were shown to our room. We were 1 block away from all of the action and we enjoyed the quiet, relaxing environment. The pool was large and sparkling clean! It’s a great town with walking access to kayaks on the river. We drove out to Jenner and also up i to the Coastal Redwoods. I look forward to returning. Note that the hotel is gay friendly. My husband I felt like we were welcome and treated very well. We enjoyed our trip and the guests we met were fun and considerate, playing music by the pool.

Liked the garden, buildings are old and rustic. Were very disappointed with customer service and how staff handled internet problem. We had to pack up and leave the night before as had important business call and zoom meeting and needed to have internet. Manager didn"t apology or provide any refund
