Då vi var på genomresa så var närheten till vägen bra.

Städningen kan förbättras avsevärt, luktade rök i rummet. Väldigt gammalt och slitet. Frukosten ingen höjdare. Knappt något att välja på och det som fanns var inte så bra.

Das einzige, was gefallen konnte, war die Nähe zum Ort, an dem eine Veranstaltung, die ich besucht habe, stattfand.

Das Personal sprach und verstand nur rudimentär Deutsch oder Englisch. Das Frühstück, das mit 9,- Euro berechnet wurde, war schlichtweg eine Zumutung. Die am Freitag und Sonntag servierten Brötchen sind ob ihrer Konsistenz eher unter das Kriegswaffenkontroll-, als unter das Lebensmittelgesetz zu verorten. Nach Beschwerde am Freitag, gab es zumindest am Samstag vernünftige Brötchen. Die weiteren Zutaten des Frühstücks waren aber ebenfalls qualitativ, wie quantitiv eher dürftig. Das Hotel steht nunmehr offensichtlich auch für eine Dauervermietung an ausländische Familien zur Verfügung. Dadurch ist der Lärmpegel gerade auch in der Nacht deutlich zu hoch, zumal diese Familien die Türen ihrer Zimmer auch in den Nachtstunden regelmäßig offen stehen ließen.

Die Lage war gut.

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

No air condition. It was very warm in all rooms (including breakfast room) It was very loud in the evening and at night. There were several festivities in the neighborhood with loud music. Felt like the whole hotel was vibrating because of the bass. Additionally all noises from the corridor could be heard easily. The staff does not speak German and only bad English.

Pretty clean.

Probably the worst hotel i ever stayed at. Extremely noisy; bot the concrete buolding itself as well as other guests that stayed up till 03.15. They only went to bed after i knocked on their door and urged them to, explaing i had to get up 07.00. Girl at the reception didn't care at all, after i told her. 'I wasn't here, so it's not my fault'. Then she needed my help printing my invoice, cause the difference between 'fax' and 'printer' was unclear to her. No info about wifi was to be found. Everything looks very dated.

it was a handy location for our trip down to Colmar, not far off the main route. there is a fire station next door if this sways anyone, no noise when we were there.

We arrived after 19:30 and it was very dark in the surrounding area leading to the hotel, parking was not that obvious, but it’s a small detail. Restaurant was closed on site but the staff helped with a local pizza delivery, considering English not strong and my German wasn’t either!

Big bathroom, free parking, big bed, late check in possibility, small fridge

Furniture is a bit old

This is a no frills hotel near Frankfurt but it was what we expected (staying overnight before continuing our drive to other cities). The room was much bigger than I expected and although it was in a spartan way, it was just we had expectation. Shower and toilet was big enough, just like the bed which was of good size. They provided an electric fan which was useful for the hot summer of 2022. If you arrive late like we did, they had a box system where you can retrieve the key which was convenient and efficient. Breakfast was available at good price but we didn't have time to try it so can't comment. Staff was helpful and spoke English well. Generally, it was good value and provided just what we needed for the trip. I was satisfied.

Nothing for me except that for some travellers should take note what the hotel has to offer. The hotel doesn't have airconditioner. It's a simple but efficient hotel, no beautiful decoration and is in a residential area but not a big town so few places to eat.
