I was told it was supposed to be a cottage that I rented. I even received pictures. When I arrived found out that it was a room inside the inn, it only had a small full bath and a bed and a television, A\C and a refrigerator inside your bedroom. It had an outside pool but I could not use it, it was extremely cold because they were filling it up with the garden hoses.

It was fine. The location was fantastic and the view was amazing .

One of my favorite places to stay with my daughter. It’s, quiet, quaint and convenient. The rooms are a little small, but it’s cozy, clean and meticulously cared for. It’s one of my favorite stays on the lake.

We had a wonderful one night stay! We will definitely be back next summer! Ohhhhh and the warm fresh baked muffins were delish!!!

This Inn is fantastic! Recently remodeled and super clean with the most amazing Vibe! Spectacular views!

The room and bathroom were ver small. The inn was clean and the mattress very firm.

We stayed in the captains suite which was so spacious and had everything we needed including dishes and silverware. The place is very nice with lots of outdoor seating and the muffins are delicious.

Our experiences were great at Lakeview House & Cottages. Janet was very pleasant to work with at checked in and out. The place was really clean and comfortable. We loved the porch and deck areas with the view of the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely surprise this was. Such a pretty room with a great view of the lake. Furnished like a bed and breakfast, such a refreshing change from corporate hotels. Beautiful property with great views and picnic area, and no need to drive to lake and boardwalk. We had missed that bathroom was in hallway but this was not an issue at all, felt European. Hope to stay again!!

Great location with beautiful views of the lake! Very short walk to the water for food, shopping and visiting the public beach. Very friendly staff.

It is a beautiful place. Cottage is taken cared of right next to a well taken cared of inground pool. Nice view of the lake and a close walk to the boardwalk

The location near the commercial beach area and the MV Mount Washington.

It was very convenient to the bike rally. And Janet was awesome with all of our needs.

Booked for a weekend for bike week. It is right in the main action of bike week. Flat parking lot is a huge plus. Also some great morning views from the pourch.

Fantastic stay on short-notice - absolutely will go back for the price. The room was clean and neat, and they stocked me with extra bathing items and toiletries. The staff was incredibly friendly, and made sure I was well taken care of.

Perhaps it was in the initial descriptions and I missed it but, finding out at check-in that all the bathrooms are shared was a surprise. It didn't pose much of a problem. The room was nice and the view was great. Bring your own pillow. It's minutes by foot to the beach. There was a bush taking up a third of our numbered parking space. Teona (? spelling), the young person at the desk, is awesome!

Everything was perfect except the bed. It felt like we were sleeping on a plank of wood. Aside from that, the room was cute, bathroom immaculate, staff was wonderful, fresh muffins in the morning, clean and friendly. It would get 10 stars out of 5 if the bed was better but the bed was so bad it dropped the whole thing to a 3.8-4.

Property is well maintained and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. We liked the convenience of being able to walk to the main street. Overall a good stay.

Was pleasantly surprised at the cleanlyness and homey feeling. The view from my room was beautiful. Janet and staff were very friendly. 🙂

Our cabin was clean, the staff was very attentive and helpful. Nice pool and beautiful view. Convenient location.

The location of the Lakeview House & Cottages was fantastic. Walking distance to Weirs Beach and the boardwalk. Beautiful view of the lake. Unit C12 was perfect for a couple, comfy king bed, all the amenities (small fridge, microwave, grill, coffee maker, hairdryer), with air conditioning. Steps from the in-ground pool and outdoor sitting area. Hotel staff was super friendly. Cottage C12 was older and did smell a bit musty. Access to the unit was also a little awkward to maneuver from the parking lot, up a flight of stairs, through a grassy outdoor sitting area and up another small rock wall. Overall it was great for the couple nights we were there.

This is a great location. We stayed for a night when going to a concert at the Bank of NH Pavilion. It was just 3 miles away. The views from the House are gorgeous, Janet was wonderful, the room was comfortable and clean. We look forward to staying there again.They have done a great job with a historic site.
