As a whole you can’t beat location. It was nice to park and not have to leave. But if you do leave, watch out because parking is a mess. You pay $40 a day (not included in the room cost) and apparently this doesn’t guarantee parking. The hotel over sells parking and you aren’t guaranteed a spot. For two days we had to pay to park on the street. Check in was a mess. The manager couldn’t wait to leave right on the hour. There were 4 parties waiting at the front desk and that woman ran out of there because her shift was over. The people at the desk were fine, but when there were two customers left, one of which was us, the staff walked away. I had to chase down the young guy and ask him for keys. He then returned back to the desk. It was very weird, like you have customers, where are you going!? The buildings need a good clean! The kitchens cabinets were nasty. Stains on the doors and the knobs were funky. You had to wipe things down. We had brown stains running down the wall near the bathroom toilet trash can. Our tub had black hairs all over it. It needed a deep scrub. The base boards are filthy. Even in the staircase, just gunk layered up. The towel situation is a mess. They don’t offer towels at the pool. So you are calling the front desk or asking room service but room service never had any. I go back to location. That is great but there are minor things that could be adjusted to set this place apart from others.

Very friendly and family oriented.

The staff especially the attendants in the parking garage were so friendly. Frustrated with check in as we waited until almost 6:00 pm to get to our room. There were seven other families in the lobby waiting as well. We never had any service in our room during our stay. I requested towels twice and was offered hand towels as there were no other towels available. The second time I requested towels they never responded or brought towels. The facility was clean and is very nice. They appear to be short staffed and it affects the service. I would go back but would also consider other options because of this.

Best hotel in the area. Though very pricey, its is clean, modern, and right on the beach and in the town. Pool was clean. I don’t think any other hotels in the area are in the same category. Right in town for easy walking to everything. Probably one of the nicest beaches around. we enjoyed a one night stay here very much on our way to the Outer Banks.

Located on the Bethany Beach boardwalk makes this Marriott Residence Inn highly attractive. It's a bit pricy but overall a great place to stay.

The overall facility was nice and the staff was very nice. Unfortunately the room we stayed in was lacking in cleanliness - there were filthy towels left in the bathroom as well as hair and a hair tie on the floor. It took 3 separate contacts with the front desk (2 in-person) to have this problem cured. When paying over $600 a night this was a real Blackeye on them!

Ocean front is the best way to stay at the beach and this did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and the location was perfect. The pool was just ok, so we only used it once. The sun doesn’t really hit the pool & there is no poolside food/drink service. Otherwise, all was great.

Property is very nice, loved the free breakfast and we had dinner one night at Via Sophia the food was very good but the one thing we didn’t like was the fact that you have to pay $40 a night to park your car it should be included with the price of the room

It’s clear that this was once a GORGEOUS PROPERTY and the suites are still stunning as far as design, color palette and layout. Unfortunately, it seems as if the current management has let things go. There were cracks in the basins in the bathroom, stains on the ceiling, etc. Additionally, we waited to arrive until 5:30 to avoid the 4:00 rush of arrivals on our first evening. There were at least 10 families in line. There was one receptionist that knew how to run the register. The other poor lady was brand-new at the job and incapable of completing transactions. Room was musty and damp and sheets were dirty.

The pool area was not very clean. My grandson used the men’s bathroom by the pool and it was filthy and the floor was very dirty!!

Loved the stay. Acess to beac was so convenient. Staffs were nice.

We have walked past the Residence Inn by Marriott on our other visits to Bethany Beach and this time we decided to try it out and we’re not disappointed. We will be staying here again. It’s right on the boardwalk, we could see the beach and ocean from the room, the room was immaculate and quiet too. Had a fantastic time, free breakfast was amazing, try the egg frittatas and the waffles, absolutely wonderful coffee too but, I don’t think it’s sold outside of hotels and restaurants. Had a great time.

We stayed in a one bed room suite and it was very comfortable. My kids and my mother-in- law just loved the space. My son rated it as 10 out of 10. Location was great and super convenient to go the beach. Breakfast was decent. The only thing is it’s in a different building all together and not in the same building where the lobby is.

The hotel was great, very clean, very accommodating, and incredibly quiet! Which was crucial for us, we didn’t want a loud, noisy boisterous hotel. Breakfast was free and was VERY nice. Lots of healthy and gluten free options! The hotel gym was also quite nice, we used it a few times during our stay! The only complaint I have is that when we arrived our tv was not working properly. We had no Netflix. The internet connection had an issue. The hotel staff told us we had to wait until the morning as maintenance had left for the day. This was slightly irritating, however the maintenance man was amazing and promptly fixed it the following morning. We would definitely stay here again!

for 400 / night, I think $40/night for parking 1 car is ridiculous. room was small with no table for eating. Lots of flies in the restaurant.

The overall experience of our stay is good. The included breakfast is decent and the staffs are constantly refilling the foods. Easy access to tea, water and coffee in the lobby. Parking is a bit expensive. It's a busy hotel and there are times that we had to call multiple times in order to get services. There is also a performer dressed as a mermaid to interact with the guests at the pool every Thursday; the kids had a blast talking to her.

Great location! Could be cleaner! Especially the floor. Beds were comfortable and staff were helpful! Patio was closed for construction, which we weren’t unaware of. Breakfast was good, especially the coffee! We will stay again, but bring additional cleaning supplies, swifter etc.

Excellent location, very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Hotel parking lot fills up at night and even though there’s no spots remaining if you leave and come back, still charged the parking fee.

Beware of Additional Fees, Unpleasant Check-In Experience, and Room Discomfort Be prepared to incur additional fees beyond your expectations. Parking costs $40 per day, and complimentary WiFi is only offered when booking directly. The pet fee is steep. Despite the air conditioning being set at a seemingly comfortable 65 degrees, the room temperature actually hovers closer to 70 degrees, leading to discomfort and restless nights. Consider bringing a fan, as the room's temperature might not meet your expectations given the high cost of the accommodation. Furthermore, the check-in staff was notably rude, lacking property knowledge and showing disinterest in addressing questions. Their attitude suggested discomfort with our sexual orientation, adding to our overall dissatisfaction with the experience.

Good get away spot on the beach.

Hotel is great if you’re traveling with your little ones or pets. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, and friendly staff. I traveled with my kid, so having easy access to the beach, pool and park was great. The salt water pool is also well kept. My only suggestion would be for the front desk, to be a bit more attentive to guests needs if they’re calling down from their rooms. All in all- would recommend

This facility is directly on a boardwalk with resturants and shops. There is a main building and the South building. Its very accessible to both. Partial ocean view was still fantastic on where we stayed. Tou can easily have a cup of coffee looking and hearing the ocean. Would absolutely come back and stay again!
