Beautiful resort

Photos are not accurate. Our suite did not look like the ones on hotels. Careful when booking about the up charge per person. Hotels advertises that places sleep 4 but you’re charged a nightly rate per person over two. Place had ant traps everywhere. But the people who worked at the resort were outstanding, which made all the difference.

Room was above patio/bar so noise most of the day. Room was small. Pathways and parking lot gravel and dirt so very dusty.

It is a beautiful spot on a peaceful island. Our room was quite small, and the queen mattress was smaller than our queen at home, but the deck was lovely. View is unlike anything else & the ac works great. Would have loved to open a window or had a screen on our door but not really an issue. It's an older building that comes with it's own quirks. If you want your room tidied while you stay, you have to ask. There are no breakfast options at the hotel, so you will need to drive to the local bakery or bring something to stow in the bar fridge. Staff are lovely, everyone is very friendly.

It seemed like no one runs the resort or cares about the guest experience. There is no service after receiving the room key which was also a strange conversation when the receptionist clarified if I knew my partner as there apparently are frequent hook ups in the establishment. The pool and hot tub were so dirty! There was a sign that said "Quiet" before entering which is ironic as it was filled with loud screaming children and an adult that claimed being an owner of one of the villas? Also we felt there was an immense divide between guests and locals. It was not welcoming. We got treated at the restaurant like we were a nuisance. The hostest couldn't bother even saying hello or a single word to us as she brought us to our table. Just put the menus down and walked away. Even the garden signs outside that lead to the beach say "beach house guests only". That means hotel guests dont have access to the beach on a beach front property?! That was such a shame. We decided to check out a day early and since there is no food til noon we went to a bakery for breakfast. We forgot to buy water and when we asked the receptionist if we could purchase water she said she didnt know.... what kind of resort doesnt have water for their guests. We even asked if we could buy it despite drinking water being a complimentary feature at any resort or hotel around the world. I feel scammed honestly. For what we paid we could have had a clean and beautiful long weekend getaway somewhere else.

Easy and early check in. I received a call from a staff member to arrive around 2:00 PM to check in even though check in time was 4:00 pm. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great dinning options and ocean view room.

Everything needed to be in the Gulf Islands with the extra pampering feel of a little tucked away European feeling hotel. Views are all West Coast Wild Beauty.

Usually breakfast was provided between 8 and 10 but not this time and nowhere was open in town to get breakfast early enough so that was disappointing had I known I would have brought food

There were only 2-3 guests in the entire building so they wouldn’t serve breakfast. And when I asked for an upgrade to a bungalow (all of them Were empty cause Of the off season) for the last 2 nights of our stay, they wanted to charge an extra $500. I was willing to pay $200 extra for the upgraded experience but they wouldn’t budge. I just think if I was the owner, I’d take the extra $200 to make the guests happy. Especially if it was complete empty. All this to say, don’t rent out the smaller rooms, they’re not worth it.

Older inn but great views. Restaurant ran out of a lot food and we had to take what was left.

Every room has a balcony with ocean view and a little hiking trail is nearby; pet friendly- great stay if you have a dog!

Beautiful location friendly staff

The rooms in the building are shabby and awkward. For some reason the rough carpet felt damp. The room is very old and the bathroom needs an update. They are also above the restaurant where the music can be quiet loud. And with the door open all the cooking smells waft in.

Great for a quick getaway. This is our second time staying here, and both were positive experiences. It's a nice down-to-earth resort that doesn't cost a fortune. Really nice vibe, beautiful scenery, pleasant staff and a nice pub/bistro downstairs - also reasonably priced, so pretty self-contained.

Do not expect a resort. The rooms are fine but double check that you get what you pay for. Breakfast is basically toast or cereal and coffee. The pool is very small (indoors) and the ‘gym’ equipment looked like it’s rusting. At least they have electric vehicle chargers and the view is nice.
