The staff was super friendly. We had a suite room specifically for the sofa bed for our son. When we arrived we didn't have any blankets for the sofa bed (which was grossly stained) so I went downstairs to get some. They didn't have anymore pillow cases so we got just one plain pillow, and we didn't get a blanket on our king size bed (just 2 sheets). I know you get what you pay for but sheesh.

Check in was fine. The lady was really nice. We got to the room and it didn’t feel clean. There were stains all over the bed covers and pillow cases. The carpet…….lets just say I would not walk barefoot. No one tells you that the air conditioner control on the wall has to be set same as the unit by the window until you call and complain that the room was not cooling off. We also had a roach crawl across the wall. Muskogee is the half way point for my best friend and I to meet up to do things. We will be staying in another hotel next time. Location is convenient to everything.

Room needs updating

Lobby looked nice so at first glance the place seemed nice. The girl at the front desk was very pleasant and checked me in quickly for my 2 night stay. My room looked nice at first but when I went to take off my shoes I noticed that the carpet was very dirty and didn't seem to have been vacuumed in a very long time. There were toenail clippings on the floor between the beds and what I hoped was a beard hair in plain sight. Toenails everywhere and dead grass tracked all over. Needless to say I kept my socks on. When I headed out for dinner that evening I stopped at the front desk and asked the clerk if they could send someone up to vacuum at their earliest convenience. He said, "Yes, I need to write it down because if I don't write it down it won't get done." So he grabbed a notepad and wrote 'Vacuum- #2**' for housekeeping. Shower was nice with good water pressure. There were 2 bottles of conditioner on the counter and no shampoo. Toilet made weird noises while refilling. I had breakfast in the morning and was actually pleased with the selection and offering of biscuits and gravy. Right before I headed out for work I heard the cleaning crew in the room next door vacuuming so I had high hopes that my room would be cleaned as well. I came back late that evening to my bed made, trash emptied and still the same toenails on the floor. Floor never got vacuumed during my entire stay even after specifically asking for it. I'll be staying elsewhere on my next visit to Muskogee.

Room was musty and floors were damp. Air was horrible, should have gone down to front desk to swap rooms but the front desk person was overly helpful and treated me like I didn’t know how to read the prompts on the check in screen when I checked in. A day later I’m now sick from this room and will not be staying again. Bed was at least clean but not the most comfortable and room was very worn

Curtain in our room had mold as well as the bathroom door was falling apart. Even with the air turned down our room was hot all night unless the air was running at that time. Had 3 people staying but only was given two towels and no hand towels or washcloths. Also if you go be sure to bring your own toiletries. This was the first time I didn’t pack any because we were only staying overnight and I was going to use what they normally supply but we weren’t given any. Was not what I was expecting. Area did seem nice though!

Our room reeked of mildew. The bathroom exhaust fan had about a half inch of brown dust coating the vent. The paint was peeling, We asked for our room to be made up the second day, it wasn’t touched. We asked again if it could be made up the 3rd day, the person at the front desk told us “hopefully” it would be done. It was cleaned that day, but not the beds. The ice machine tricked water out onto the floor leaving a wet, rusty, water puddle beneath. Spend the extra 20/day and use another property if you value hospitality. Photos are deceiving and must have been taken many years ago.

First room smelled like a musty basement and had water coming up from between the tiles. 2nd room smelled better but the room was in disrepair. Loose tiles in the floor. Only 2 towels provided for 4 guests no shampoo provided. Everything seemed dirty and not well cleaned. Would not stay here again.

My room was very clean, quiet, bed was very comfortable. Service was great. Breakfast was hot and delicious

Hotel is OK. No crazy cleanliness issues or bugs. Bed is comfy enough, but the little half pillows are weird and not great. Biggest issue is that the whole hotel shows signs of neglect. Maintenance work is not kept up. Paint is peeling in corners, tub chipped and not fixed, only one ice machine still works, and it is leaking rust onto the floor (from the legs - Ice was good). Breakfast was OK. Not all of the usual options for a hotel in this price point, but enough that you didn’t have to go hungry. It still gets 3 starts because the staff was nice and it was clean.

Normally it’s not bad… I checked in and my room smelled HORRIBLE! It smelled of so much smoke I couldn’t handle it at all! Reservationist was great, got me in another room. But the AC would only go down to 68… ok that’s great for some people but it was to me. Then there were cobwebs on the ceiling and the corners and it looked like the room I was moved kb til hadn’t been used in a while… But at least it didn’t smell like smoke

Older hotel that has not been kept up very well. Lobby area as pretty nice but rooms were older and carpet dingy. Beds were pretty comfortable but pillows were horrible. Shower had no water pressure. Just overall experience was not the best.

The front desk employee at check in was the absolute sweetest and very helpful. The mid century decor is so well put together. Our only complaint was the pull out couch. The mattress was nothing but springs and unacceptable for a child to have to sleep on. We purposely booked a room with a pull out couch since we have two kiddos with us.

smell moldy

The hotel rooms were very dated and run down looking. The rooms smelled of mildew. The breakfast was good. There were plenty of dining options nearby.

I took off stars for cleanliness because when we got to our room we only had 1 washcloth for 3 people and it was stained. There were 2 towels and there was still coffee in the coffee machine. The carpet in the hall also needed to be vacuumed. The rest of the room and bathroom were clean and the lady at the front was happy to supply us with more towels and apologized for the inconvenience.

Ok then, this booking site was not happy with my review so here is the cut to the chase version. So…. 1. If there was a minus star I would select it. 2. When staying in this town find another hotel. I will. Nowhere was I informed of a $ security deposit. There was no cart available for me to use. Staff dug up a beat up one for me, which was nice but wow, see photo. All in all, stay somewhere else.

This hotel is very dated. The carpet in the room was very dingy and looked dirty.The room had a very musky smell in it.There was no towels in our room had to go to the front desk to get some. I was given towels but they said they didn’t have any washcloths.

We reserved this last minute due to a change in our son's baseball schedule, and it looked like a nice place, but I was wrong. When we went to check in, we stood at the front desk for a few minutes waiting. No one was up front. We then got to the room and had no towels (actually, we had one washcloth), but no other towels whatsoever. I will add that checkout was at 12, and it was 9 pm, plenty of time to refresh. We then went to the pool and once again had zero towels in the pool area. Also, all chairs at the pool had mold (did have a nice pool). Came back to the room and boom...... zero towels, called the front desk, and the lady was very rude and said they have 2 dryers in the whole hotel, and they are full of towels, but our room was number 7 on the list to get towels. My wife and I drove to Walmart and bought towels so our children could take a shower. While we were gone, our daughter sent us a picture of a possible clump of mud and will attach a picture. My other daughter started looking at the beds and found what appeared to be urine stains on the bed, we had a pull out couch and no linens also couch had a huge yellowish stain on side of couch, the shower curtain rod was hanging down and overall it was a horrible stay. The bad part is we drove and played baseball all day and wanted to relax, and instead, we were treated like complete trash, and they acted like it was normal for a hotel to not have towels. I asked about a refund and was told, "Good luck". I rarely give 1 star

The hotel was very nice, the room was nice and big. The handicap bathroom was spacious. Clean.

Dead bugs in the window ledge. Build up soap scum on the walls in the shower. Stained sheets and towels that we had tp use. Dirty carpet with stains on the floor. Come on Best Western, lets do better.

Needed a place for overnight for a family emergency. This place is always my first choice. It might not be the lowest price but comfort for value factors in

Overall I would visit again! We had a very clean room, a nice well stocked breakfast, and the coffee machine was very cool. Only cons we experienced were the rooms weren’t very insulated so you can hear conversations walking down the hall, our bed was a little too hard for our liking, the pillows were kinda tiny, and the tub plumbing was a little slow to go down.

Our room was older and not very nice. Coffe was terrible and not much variety.

Black mold in the bathroom and shower. Bed sheets had stains. Room otherwise outdated and disheveled.

Light bulbs burned out in bathroom, toilet seat was broken, towel rack rusty, mold at bottom of shower, tv remote didn’t work, thermostat didn’t work — ALL 3 staff that we saw were on their personal phones. They did get up when we approached the counter but didn’t offer much help. Breakfast was edible.

The room smelled musty when I walked in and the sheets felt damp. When I turned the heater on it immediately smelled like it was burning. Ended up not having much control over the temperature because of this. Cigarette smoke in the elevators as well.

The room was as described as far as size and layout. There was a sectional with a big ottoman; there was a tear in the ottoman when we got there. There were also stains on the curtains. There were only a few very small pillows in the room.

I requested a ground floor a month before however they overbooked and wasn't available. The toilet seat was loose. The stopper for the tub was broken. The drain for the tub was so slow it filled up while showering. Pool was still ok but the door was broke and had to be propped open. Breakfast was still good.
