The room was very clean. I wasn’t in it very long but it was comfortable. The only problem I noticed was the coffee maker was missing a piece.

I wish we had been informed that rooms were only cleaned every other day and that clean towels were available from the front desk. I finally found out late the second day.

we chose this hotel because of location but certainly because we could swim with the kids. there was no warning on their website or expedia that the pool was closed. I would have never chosen the hotel if i would have known. I was very upset and so were my kids. The staff "Joel" didn't seem to care either. He was less than helpful

Overall, it was a fairly good stay. The two items that caused my rating to drop were 1. no ice in the ice machine and 2. the bigger issue was that there was a yapping dog up until about 8:30 in the evening in one of the rooms close to me.

The first impression was not good. We were told the pool was not open yet and that was part of the reason we picked this motel. Kind of disappointed. The hotel staff were on point. Joel went above and beyond to satisfy us. The inly other problem we had was opening and closing the sliding bathroom door. It was heavy and hard to roll. Overall itbwas a very nice place.

The hotel was nice, however the pool was not working or available, the disability room is on the fourth floor and the elevators were not working. They were able to get elevator working after an hour but very inconvenient.

Nice clean hotel . The room was comfy cool and clean. I ask to replace the down pillows as my husband has an allergy and they quickly replaced. The pool was closed during our stay but the workout facility was clean and had lots of options. Breakfast was hot with many options and complimentary . The staff were superb!

Just ok. Clean lobby and elevators. Room was clean but bathroom had several issues. (Sliding door that wouldn’t close, broken toilet paper holder and towel hooks. and the shower curtain wasn’t long enough so the floor had water everywhere.) Breakfast did not include meat of any kind and the hospitality crew (one woman) couldn’t keep up with all of the guests grabbing food as she set it out. I will pay the extra ten dollars and stay at another property next time.

Hamptons are typically consistent in quality and service. This hotel was decent, but probably toward the lower end of the quality I normally expect from this line. Front desk clerk was sufficient but didn't mention things that a first time Hampton guest may need to know (breakfast, complimentary toiletries). The room was musty, but was clean. The pillows weren't like other Hamptons- maybe just time to update them. Overall, a good value and night's sleep, and I would choose to stay here over other options in the area.

I walk up to the desk to check in and hear the staff on the phone explaining why the pool is closed in July (he said it was closed since the last hurricane) ha! Like it affected anything in tyler Texas besides some rain. Lame excuse. My daughter had been SO EXCITED about the pool.
Next I go to my room that smells musty, and there is a ball of hair and a pill on the floor right by bathroom door that was also dirty looking. The bed and main room were clean. Fridge didn’t work, and the toilet shot water across the bathroom when you flushed. Room darkening curtains had a broken tract and therefore didn’t close, and therefore we were up when the sun was. Annoying.
Worst part had to be walking to the room and seeing a stack of papers in the hallway that ended up being the list of every guest who checked in that day and their room number and rate. Made me feel super safe.
I will never come here again. I’m disappointed Expedia had this place so highly rated.

It was during the Microsoft software loss and no keys worked on any rooms. The staff patiently checked guests in and escorted each to their room. They worked very hard to accomodate guest during a trying situation and did so in a courteous manner.

There was mold/mildew on the shower ceiling and on the walls. When we checked in they told us the pool was out of service. The pool and location were the reason we booked this hotel. They offered to let us cancel but we had booked through Expedia. It would have been hard to get our money back from Expedia so we decided to forego the pool and stay. They did not offer any discounts etc….we even asked for a discount.
They also had to escort us to our room every time we came/went due to the systems being down. The location is wonderful because it is near lots of shopping. It was not terrible stay but definitely not worth $170

Very comfortable hotel that is located in a safe area. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. I really enjoyed the fitness room and would recommend staying at the Hampton Inn in Tyler Texas.

I was given a room with a black toilet seat and then detached bathroom fixtures needing replaced . Broken usb portal beside the bed. No extra blanket, no sack for dirty clothes. No pool, it had a sign that said closed for the season. Upon my arrival, I asked about the pool. The attendant said he wasn’t sure about the pool and made ME walk to go check it to see if it was open. The attendant also (when I told him my son was autistic and sensitive to sound) said “yes I could see he was” and then proceeded to tell me I should have brought ear phones for him. It hurt me so much to hear that about my son. I also had a small bag of trash and the attendant mocked me for not putting it in the trash containers . I did not drop it in because the containers were labeled and there were different types of trash in one bag. This was horrible service. We will NEVER go here again. Never! Also, The back door was open later in the night and anyone could have entered without the room key.

My room was on the first floor and there was a lot of noise and slamming doors early in the morning around 6-7 am. Breakfast was de pleated around 8:30-9:00.

I was upgraded to a suit which was amazing. However there were pee stains on the bathroom floor when I arrived, the guys working were nice but the ladies had attitudes, half the plugs did not work in the room, the pool was shut down due to electrical problems, you have to clean your own room & get your own towels if they had not ran out and not to mention you have to have your own blankets if you’re using the pullout bed because they tend to run out. I would have thought they would have a good supply of everything.

Pool was closed in very hot weather for unexplained reason. Some silly stuff such as : Rug stains in room and hallway. Only had a shower with no tub (wife prefers a tup) soap holder bent and could not hold soap. Free breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable and clean.

Kids were disappointed that pool was closed there was not anyone working on it & it looked fine. James I believe was his name. RUDE I ask him why the pool was closed he said maintenance I guess I don’t know since I only work the front desk. Toilet wasn’t clean. Dog pee sprayed on wall and parts of the carpet were wet.
