The rooms are small as the Pub is old but they are very clean and comfortable

Quirky and interesting rooms, spacious and well equipped. Good breakfast and convenient location on the Eton side for Windsor and Eton. Lack of a lift and uneven stairs / low ceilings may not be easy for everyone

Clean and comfortable room with an amazing view of Windsor Castle . We stayed in the King suite on the second floor with the flagpole outside , many original features , the stairwell was tight leading to our room which is understandable considering the age of the building, but worth the effort . Many craft beers available and food good

A really nice inn with a pub that serves great food. Friendly staff, clean room, and within walking distance from Windsor Castle, shops and train station.

For the first visit to Windsor this was a perfect place and first time experience. Would highly recommend.

When we first arrived it did look amazing that was until we got into the room where there was stains all over the walls when looking under the bed there was half a moldy sandwich amongst other food items proving they don’t check and clean the room properly the window was also filthy and had been left open allowing mosquitos which they said was something they couldn’t help due to the location of the property but I feel a bug zapper is required to prevent being constantly bitten when down in the bar area we were told after we had ordered food and drink they only took card we didn’t see anything to say this on there site before we booked let alone at the place itself and when the food did arrive the chicken burger my husband ordered was over cooked he couldn’t even bite into it and yet they still charged us for it we were also unaware that there was a taxi pick up point right under the room the only noise that we were warned about was if they had a live band in the facility and yet the noise from outside was non stop till 4am so we couldn’t sleep

Perfect Location!

Unfortunately had a very poor stay here. Whilst the location and the staff were both great - the room was very dated and not particularly clean, with a creaky bed. The main criticism of the stay though is the noise - I've legitimately never stayed anywhere where the walls between rooms were so thin. I could quite clearly hear the person in the room next to me as they shuffled in bed, snored and farted during the night - absolutely ridiculous. This, along with the room being stuffy and hot (it was 27 degrees in the day, which to be fair is quite hot for England) led to an awful night's sleep and bad experience

The location was ideal, close to Windsor Castle but not too close! The breakfast seemed a bit over priced.

Great central location.

The room was too warm and the ceilings were very low, we both hit our heads multiple times. One of the bottles of water provided in the room was already open and 1/4 full. The coffee provided was decaf only. Everything else was pretty standard, though we found the regal theme a bit strange.

The room was very tired, it needed upgrading. It was small with not much space to move around. The spring mattress was old, lumpy and uncomfortable. The location was great but no onsite parking.

Great staff and location. The room could have been cleaner. I would stay again without hesitation.

Very convenient location for sightseeing in Windsor/Eton area. Comfortable bed, excellent shower. Only disappointment was no breakfast available.

This hotel was a good find - very easy to get to from either railway station, friendly service (reception is through the main bar), bag storage - not terribly secure but ok - and a comfy, spacious room. The sash window was open - good fresh air - but the lack of a catch meant it wouldn't shut until lightly wedged with paper. Being a pub, there was some noise below and on the street until a little after 11pm, very quiet thereafter.

Enjoyed our stay. Room warm and comfortable. Centrally located.

We stayed at the George Inn for one night after visiting Windsor Castle. It was in the perfect location and I was guided too easy parking by the staff. They were very friendly and chatted it up a bit. Walked across the bridge for a fast dinner. Simple and easy!

Great place and staff. Room are very small. Bed was a bit uncomfortable in the room we stayed in but managment is aware of the situation.

Wonderful

Great location for Eton and Windsor - had a really comfortable sleep although the bathroom does need an update. Staff were really friendly but I arrived in the evening during a full house in the downstairs pub so was left waiting for awhile to check in. There is a public car park around 0.5 miles away.

Convenient to rail station and Windsor Castle

From the time we checked in until the time we checked out we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The gentleman who greeted us at reception was incredibly friendly and open. We came to the dining room to find a table reserved for us. It was a good thing too because it was busy. The room was fantastic with an amazing view of the castle. We enjoyed our dinner and had some great cask beers. We cannot wait to get back here.

Located centrally in Eton close to the bridge to Windsor. Staff friendly and room to a good standard.
