Loved the retro feel!! As two women staying at the motel, I was worried about safety around the area but it was great. I highly recommend staying here and using this as your home base to travel around the area.

Everything was good. For me, I prefer a firm mattress, though. The soft ones give me a backache.

Check in friendly. However, we discovered no air conditioning. Very noisy traffic. Not sure how this hotel got fairly good ratings. Unable to speak with a manager for refund until the next day, even though we weren't wanting to stay. If one likes old 50-60s era retro hotels might be ok. We left and stayed elsewhere.

Okay for an overnight stay while traveling 101.

Very cute & clever decor. Clean room, friendly staff. The bed was not real comfortable & the motel parking lot is not sufficient for all the rooms. They did have motel parking available at the restaurant next door

Bring your earplugs to get a good night sleep. The motel is located right on a busy road. Other than that, all is good. It’s easy to get to where you need to go (101 is close by).

This is an older, modest little motel that used this to their advantage by making the 50's style a feature. It is charming and enjoyable. I definitely will want to stay here again.

Super cool old school motel!

It’s what I expected. A Time Machine back to the 1960s. Just clean comfortable room. It’s not a destination resort. Breakfast could be expanded, earlier and more robust food. We enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned. Toilet seat had splatter from the previous occupants and carpet was sticky. All around dirty and not a place I will stay again.

The property seemed to be in ill repair with a lot of new appliances to make it look kitschy. It was hard to overlook the mildew in the tub and the shower that only had half the water diverted to the shower head, the rest going out the tub faucet. We could clearly hear the conversations of the people upstairs from us as well as their dog whining all night long. Would not stay here again for the $300/night we were charged. Maybe $80/night.

location was important to me on this trip

I stay here when i am working in the area, its quite and convenient location. Short walk to downtown, quick drive to Warrenton

Everything about this hotel and my stay there was fine. Clean, tidy, I had no complaints or problems to speak of. Minor items I didn't like: a. No cooling option. Room was quite warm, and I had trouble getting it cool enough to sleep well. Had to leave the door open in order to get even a little bit of cooling ventilation. b. The lighting was poor, especially the fact that it was impossible to read in bed. The bedside lamps were so cheap that the lampshades wouldn't come off, and with them on there was not enough light to read.

It was good for a one night stay.

Quaint was recommended by a friend as a neat throwback it is . Our room was ground floor Noise from above , the road at the front and the street at the Back ( window level ) Beds rough floors unlevel so watch your ankle ouch

Very noisy location.

This quirky motel is making the best of the bad hand it has been dealt. A typical two storey motel of the fifties with no room to expand or redevelop,the Atomic Motel trades on this by having a fifties theme, decor and retro equipment. Be aware the motel has no air conditioning however as the rooms face north or west and the proximity to the sea means this should not be too serious, The breakfast was of the grab and go variety of a hot drink, a breakfast bar and a muffin and was only served from 9 - 11.

Alright for the price.

I loved the retro look but it was all cosmetic. This is an old hotel that has old/cheaper amenities- okay mattresses, old fixtures, no a/c, shower that was hard to regulate the temp, etc. For the price, it was fine. We needed three beds and it did offer that. Front desk person was friendly enough and I never checked out the breakfast so I can't comment on that.

This is a very reasonably priced motel close to downtown Astoria with a 60s vibe throughout. Staff were very nice, and pre-stay communication was exceptional

Bed was terrible. On ac and too noisy to open the window.

Really nice friendly staff. Very quiet and lots of the town is walkable or transit options are very close. Other reviews have people complaining about no a/c or outdated stuff but the pricing reflects all that. If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to rest your head before the next adventure day this is it.

Twin bed was in poor condition.

Cute clean motel with very nice staff. The retro pop culture theme is great. Enjoyed our stay. For $300 a night the bed mattresses should be higher quality in our opinion. Rooms are not air conditioned either so you have to keep the windows open during the day.

The property was clean and okay for if you are just passing through. The staff was friendly and the theme was cute. The bathroom was a bit dated and walls were thin. Our TV did not work as well.
