I checked I'm ahead of my boyfriend. After waiting until dark I found him at a restaurant down the street. Aperently the manager told the owner he was banned and the owned threatened go call the police. He obviously had him mistaken This was dangerous,concerning, and the stay horrible. Never again ..I don't advise anyone to stay there

Was pleasantly surprised. I feel the lodge is nicer looking than shows in your photos. We were able to check in early and spent a couple of hours on the private beach, which was beautiful. The room is not fancy but it was clean, with a very comfortable bed and i would definitely stay there again. If you have youngsters there is a Mcdonald's within walking distance.

Had a 1 night layover, so price was right. Room was clean. Had full size fridge, stove & microwave, which was great. The bed left something to be desired, very soft and lumpy. Beach was fine, not that much space.

1) The light in the kitchenette did not work, and the rest of the unit was too dark. 2)The toilet paper dispenser was missing and the 1/4 roll of toilet paper was on the back of the toilet. 3) The appliances appeared to be from around the 1950s with rust on the outside of the refrigerator. 4) Although clean, the place was dingy looking. I would not recommend this place.

the furnishings are dated but adequate for a good nights sleep. There are long term transient residents living in an adjacent property. All comings and goings on the adjacent property are visible to over night customers.

All of the staff were outstanding. Outgoing and really friendly. The rooms were older, but everything worked well including the coffee maker, the microwave and the refrigerator. The room was really clean. We'll stay there again!

The staff were very friendly and they have a nice private beach right outside, my only thing i would say that i did not like was that the rooms are not super clean and my room had a bunch of spiders that almost made me check out within 10 minutes of being there but i decided to stick it out .

This is a motel. It is older, however it was clean and in the process of upgrading. Man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. The waterview was perfect!

Booked this place based on the rating and many positive comments. As many commented, it is relatively clean and quiet. Each suite room has a small but functioning kitchen with a stove, a fridge, cooking pots and utensils. The bed is so soft like a waterbed - Any movement of one person would disturb the other. The location is excellent with access to a small beach where kids can swim and play in the water. Nevertheless, the facilities are too old and property is not kept in a good shape. The bathroom is extremely small, not enough space for a normal-sized person to sit on the toilet! The bathtub is old, sink water tap is leaky and there is no ventilation fan... The front desk girl is NOT friendly with a cold fish face. It is really "you get for what you paid for". Given the price, it is ok for a place to sleep over night.

The room was dingy and not renovated. The bathroom sink was stained and the hot water dripped. The bathtub was missing enamel. The sheets were old and the furniture was scratched.

This is a great place to rest, meditate, and find happiness. There is no need to drive for swimming, and the great kitchen and big fridge give you the opportunity to not change your regular diet. There is a Great Farmers Market on Saturday morning, where you can buy fresh fruits, veggies, meat, and many other things.

The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was fine. Nothing fancy but had everything we needed. The door was very hard to close, we had to slam it hard to shut it so that we could lock it. Being a few steps from the beach was terrific, sipping wine and looking at the lake was the perfect end to our day

Very nice place, super good service, we came early but got the room with no delay :) Private beach is amazing, room is equiped with all we needed, quite and clean. Will definitely come back!
