My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in October and liked everything about it. The room was large, with a comfy bed, lots of storage and a nice big bathroom with storage as well. Breakfast every morning was a joy, always fresh and plenty of choices and it was nice to chat a bit with Celeste. She has excellent English and was quick to respond to my emails when I had questions before our arrival. I would definitely stay again

Well if you are going to stay in Lucca this is the place to come to Celeste and family are so welcoming it was as if you had known them for years,communication was great for getting in if she was out, the premises are in a wonderful quiet area about 5mins outside the wall away, to walk from train station around the wall to the exit port about 30 - 45 mins just google to see, the villa has good security ,the bedrooms are fantastic and bed very comfortable,all the information is supplied for getting around and ordering breakfast well worth it it was scrumptious my wife was looked after as gluten free as well,if it was possible to give 12 out of 10 I would don't miss this opportunity for your holiday stay.
Also free bike use if you want it and parking on site if needed.

Highly recommend Villa Catelli which is within walking distance to Lucca’s city center. Celeste and Valerio are gracious and accommodating hosts who are knowledgeable about all things Lucca. From our daily breakfast beginning with warm croissants, cappuccinos and breakfast items of choice to having our room cleaned and refreshed everyday, it’s one of our favorite B & Bs. Also appreciated free use of bicycles and for a minimal charge, secure on site parking. Hope to return again!

The owners of this B&B are really nice people, always kind and always ready to answer your questions. The breakfast was really nice. Due to covid restrictions, I had to order the night before what I wanted to have for breakfast, but that was not an issue. They offer free parking and free bikes to go to the city centre. My only two small issues were that I had to work a bit on my computer but there was no electrical outlet next to the desk. I went there in May during a heat wave and I had the AC on. The AC pointed straight to the side of the bed where the pillows are which was not great. Overall, it was a great stay.

The B&B is centrally located and is a safe area, provides off street parking, and is very clean. The staff are very friendly, provided insights into local attractions and recommendations for really good restaurants, and followed Covid protocols.

My husband and I only could stay a short time in Lucca as we were travelling on to Milan. With very short notice - 10 hours - we arrived and had a lovely visit. The apartment is just outside the walls, which might be disappointing to some, but with free parking, free bikes and Elisa's welcoming presence, we were very happy. Plus, breakfast in the morning provided us with the energy to move on. Thanks so much!

It was a very busy weekend in Lucca and we booked this last minute. It is located just outside the old city however the hosts provide you with a free bicycle which allows you easy access and the opportunity to explore the city and its surrounds

We chose this bed and breakfast just outside the walls and was very happy with the location, an easy stroll into the centre of Lucca. The owner Elisa was very friendly. It was very clean, nice bathroom and the bed very comfy. Great breakfast and it was a bonus to take a couple of bikes out for one of the days free of charge, a nice touch. We ate all our lunches and evening meals in the Piazza Anfiteatro each day as it is so pretty and relaxing. But word of warning we had one lunch at Old Charlies and he was a rip off merchant advertising a special but then charging full price with a threat to call the police if you dont pay what he charges, and it was the worst pizza we ate in our 7 days in Tuscany, so choose one of the other lovely restaurants over this one.

ELISA runs the B and B superbly. She is welcoming and extremely helpful with advice on excursions and the local area. The room was large and had everything we required. Breakfast was very good as well with a good variety of things to choose from. Thoroughly recommended

3 days of 10 travelling in Tuscany were in Lucca.Soaked up the main attractions, with time to relax,walk and cycle the city walls (several times) sample several ice creams, good restaurants,pizza bars, a tower and the Botanical Gardens. Shops typically high priced goods or tat or both as in most cities depending on tourist trade. City visit was worth 3 days of my life- no more.Hotel is recommended,v easy short walk from just outside city walls,good breakfast, friendly and efficient.

very attractive and clean place -- short walk from the walled town of lucca. good neighborhood, pleasant staff, and on site parking. good breakfast. no elevator, but that is common in italy. if you are planning a trip to the beautiful town of lucca, i recommend this place.
