Good value for money. Did exactly what was needed and the central location was great. Less good- Floor wasn’t super clean. In the kids room there were a couple of drips that looked like dried blood…

Very good location and convenient. Super clean property. Plenty of free parking.

Bud Gett Hostels is located in the center of Groningen and therefore close to many bars and restaurants. The place is well kept (with an immaculate reception area), service is friendly, room was very basic, but clean and for a one night stay (like we had), it was all we needed: small, but private shower, flatscreen tv and comfy beds.

It was a good cheap experience, and staff were friendly. It was a good couple of night sleep.

It does what it says on the tin. As an older couple we had an en-suite double room, the bunk beds were made into two low beds. Clean, comfortable mattresses, fresh towels each day. It is basic but very convenient to the city centre. Supermarket across the road. Staff were helpful.

Bus and tram stop just in front of the hotel. And we can walk 2-3 minutes to the pier. Staffs were very nice and friendly.

I stayed in the dormitory for some days but it was not very nice, the bathroom is just to minimal you can barely maneuver inside it. The place could be a bit more clean, maybe that’s cuz of the ppl already there when I arrived. Thankfully the helpful staff changed my room to a private one. Bigger and better, simple but with a good price. Would recommend dormitory only if you very laidback, otherwise do book the other rooms, cuz the location of the hostel is very good right in the center and close to everything.

This is a hostel, so not too much was expected. The staff were friendly though.

This was a nice little hostel right in Groningen. Friendly and helpful staff, and a nice location.

Great stay. Dorm was spacious and clean, so was the washroom. The only problem was that I could not find the heating switch in the room, room gets a bit cold in a December night.

I stayed for 2 of my 3 night booking. On the second night there was a lot of noise from the room beside mine. I spoke to the staff at reception and they offered me a room in their sister hotel next door at no extra cost. This is a hostel with larger shared rooms as well as single rooms similar to mine so noise at night is a feature of this type of accommodation but they were very helpful when I mentioned the issue I had. The location is excellent, just 15 minutes walk from.the train station in the centre of town. This hostel and its sister hotel are very good with excellent staff and I will stay there again on my next trip in 2017.
