I cannot recommend this property enough! What a hidden gem!! The location is beautiful and peaceful. Teresa, the owner is so warm and gracious, even though we had a language barrier she always made us feel welcomed. The breakfast was wonderful and the wine she gave us was delicious!! We’ll definitely be back.

This was just what we were looking for 3 nights peace & quiet. Added bonus of a tour of the winery. Make sure you try the wine.

We understand why this gets high high ratings on all of the review sites. It was amazing for so many reasons. Tereza, the owner, was lovely! So friendly, helpful and welcoming. Enough rudimentary English, that between us and our rudimentary Spanish, we got by. She welcomed us with their own wine, and toast with a fish (slightly bigger than a sardine, perhaps mackerel) smoked by a friend of hers. We enjoyed this at a massive stone table constructed from a single slab (about 4' by 12') under an arbour of grape vines. The property has 2 old mills. The owners purchased it 38 years ago and spent 3 years renovating to add gardens, vineyards and a winery. At some point, they renovated the mills to create guest rooms. Our friends had a romantic deluxe room with a spa tub in one of the old mills next to a babbling stream, while we were closer to the main house. Both rooms were decorated with antiques, and comfortable beds with cozy down duvets. The grounds were designed for relaxation with seating under the trees enhanced by the background sound of babbling water from the numerous streams that meander all over this property. The kitchen is in a separate stone house, and features a huge granite counter and sink, and an old open cooking fireplace where Tereza had started a small fire to keep us warm. What a presentation for breakfast! Croissants, cheese, ham, jams, endless coffee, and a lemonade made with lemons from Tereza's own trees.

I went to this area to visit family nearby. Place is fantastic to relax. Only six (6) rooms, very large and comfortable. This is an old house that was rebuilt and modernized but keeping with the rural/rustic style. All stone buildings. Even the dogs were very quiet !!!! Teresa, the owner is just fantastic taking care of guests and she also sells you some of the local Albarino wine, Priceless. I shall return.
