Great reception staff Clean. Accessible. Scenic Great stay all around

this hotel is across from the Firth of Lorn water going to the Atlantic. Beautiful view. they have an in and outdoor pub with plexiglas for warm overlooking the water too. the best is having a completely stocked large sit in kitchen to use. it has food that you can buy to make too. Great place to sit and enjoy some relaxation and views

good option for guest house, this was my first time staying at a guest house, not all rooms have bathrooms but mine had and it was very clean and everything was well organized

The room was pretty, and nice, modern furniture. we had the room above the pub, it was quite loud, but it was quite okay.

Smooth check in, friendly staff. Room as described, small, v clean and functional for our 1 night stay. Good WiFi. Immediately above the pub, no noise during the night, granted no live band on but still a lively pub. Parking at the end of row on building - pay & display.

It might have been good to know about the bar but because we were on top level it was not unreasonably loud. It’s a good thing I have a good heart for a 78 year old because that’s a lot of steps to carry my luggage. Thanks to the girl who carried it up for me.

The hotel is in a very good position, there's a park car (not free) just aside. Maybe just a little expensive for the quality that its offer.

Lovely old building with heaps of character, located right on the waterfront. Our room had excellent views of Oban harbour. The shared kitchen was fantastic - spacious, clean and very well-equipped. The staff were fabulous - friendly, welcoming and helpful

This is budget accommodation, but done well, with friendly service. Room was spacious and clean with a good bathroom. Sits above a busy bar, but on the 3rd floor we heard nothing when we went off to bed.

The noisiest least restful night spent in any guesthouse ever. The earplugs in a bowl at reception should have been a warning sign. We were stopping off after our late ferry, aiming to rest overnight before driving home the next morning. A lovely room. Clean, well appointed, and great kitchen facilities. We discovered early evening that we were above a bar and there was a live rock band on. We had been given no warning that we may experience any disturbance. They played loudly till 2:30am. I could still hear their lyrics with the guesthouse earplugs in. It must be said that their drummer was effective… We all got about 4 hours sleep and would have been better driving through the night. We won’t be staying again despite the brilliant facilities and staff.

Friendly service, big beautiful room and the bed was soooo comfortable. Just unfortunate there was a party on downstairs in the bar til 2am when we had to get up at 530am to start bike packing trip!

the location is not too far from the bus station or the train, all within easy walking distance. The room is very clean and will furnished. Staff was helpful and overall a very positive experience

Great staff, 5 star service

The room was very clean, the only issue was the noise. We were on the second floor and not directly over the pub but it was still quite loud until about 2.30am although they provide earplugs at reception. I recommend having white noise or something to help, we put white noise on the second night and had a brilliant sleep. There was an event on so it may not always be like that. Everything was clean and comfy though, so very good value for money!
