the views are beautiful but the place needs a total upgrade
the bed ( with very mushy mattress) seemed way too high and the ceiling very low .

This property served our needs for our travels to Canada. It is charming and spacious but needs some TLC. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the St Croix River and St. Stephen CA.

Comfortable room with balcony overlooking the water. Beautiful view. This motel is a throwback to another time, so is kind of fun. Staff and friendly.

It was quaint but no dining on site and food was a drive so be prepared. The beach is a complete rock beach. It was very cute but not quite as explained in the ad . But beautiful views

Nice stay. This is an older cared for motel. Hosts were very accommodating.

It was a bit outdated but comfortable. Whatever was used to clean was very strong smelling. Needed to air the room out. The view from the deck was beautiful and check in was wonderful.

The view of the river out the balcony in the morning was amazing, however, since it is a historic place it is quite dated.

This property is old, furnishings are old, no dining available during our stay, some issues with cleanliness in some areas. Not worth what was charged. I could see how in the high summer that the view and the charm of the older "motel" type facility would be acceptable.

If you like retro, this is the place for you. Great views and very nice surroundings. The room was dated, and the floor was sagging, causing the head of the bed to be lower than the foot area. Nice place to stay to enjoy the area though. The staff was friendly and very welcoming.

Beautiful setting right on the water! Old fashion, park outside your door motel with clean, spacious rooms and a nice deck overlooking the bay. Friendly helpful front desk staff!

This was an amazingly quaint historical property. The water view from the room was gorgeous, the room was huge and had interestingly dated details, the staff was awesome. We felt welcomed and cared for. The price was quite reasonable.
Two caveats: the bed was somewhat uncomfortable and the area outside the room was filled with insects as would be expected given the woodlands and beautiful river/inlet. Nevertheless, I would absolutely stay there again.

This is a very dated facility but the upkeep is top notch so superclean - and nice views of the water. Beds way too soft. Need much better coffee - and really at this point should be recommencing a basic breakfast. Covid is an excuse many small motels are using....

The staff is very helpful, handing out a list of nearby restaurants and attractions. The cute was lovely and the motel has a cheerful look to it.

This was the last stop on our 2-1/2 week holiday.
We got there well ahead of schedule and asked the hostilities if we could possibly do a cancellation so that we could just drive straight home.
She was very accommodating, called into Expedia and got it canceled.
Unfortunately I didn’t see rooms but hotel was very quaint and staff very friendly and accommodating.
