Hotel staff was not friendly. They did not staff the front desk, had to call and they told us wait 10 minutes and they would be there. The whole stay I never saw anyone at the front desk, they would leave keys in envelopes on the front counter to take and that seems very unsafe to me. A couple before us said they had tried to call but no one would answer. The hotel says it is dog friendly but you weren’t allowed to leave your pet in your room which was not stated anywhere, I even tried to get ahold of the hotel before the trip to ask about dog policies but I received no answer. Multiple of our plans were ruined because the things we had booked were not dog friendly. You would think if you’re not allowed to leave your dog in the room there wouldn’t be an extra charge, but they charge $10 a day for the pet. Overall dissatisfied with my stay.

The family and I enjoyed our trip, the hotel was a great experience right next to the lake with a short 3 minute walk. Superb views of the mountains with remarkable lightning and thunder viewed from our balcony. Quiet breakfast every morning with individual portions wrapped, kids enjoyed the hot chocolate and cereal while the adults savored the coffee, cheese and meats.

We had a big room witch was good, with our own balcony heading to the stream back from the hotel witch was a nice view. But good to know if you are sensitive with high noises during sleep it might be a trouble with windows open. Other then that I was a bit dissapointed at the hotel. First of all, it was still some shell from a medicintablett left on the beds sidetablet = did they clean here? Being located in the room highest in the building we checked for firealarm ..there was none. And the reason for checking after it was that the light in the hallway outside our bathroom switched on and off by it self one time during the night. Gave us bad vibes about the security and electricity. The beds was terribly cheap and also not comfy. Breakfast was ok, nothing more. Free parking.

Checkin is only available after 3pm. We had been to the hotel more than twice just to see if there is anyone who can help on check in. Also, there is too expensive for the quality of room and services.

This hotel is in a great location. It’s less than a ten minute walk to the boat dock with lots of cute shops along the way. The staff are kind but aloof. My family of five stayed in a third floor apartment with great space. No elevator. There were no extra sheets, pillows, or blankets for the futons, the kitchen was meagerly stocked with dishes and cookware. No coffee pot or coffee in the apartment, which is a deal-breaker for us. McDonald’s is right across the way. Breakfast was alright.

Location is very good. For the money, what you get is a clean, somewhat spartan room, an aloof manager, a middling breakfast, (which is hard to do in Germany,) and a silly 2% upcharge to pay with credit card.

The room and location were amazing. I did sometimes have trouble finding help at the front desk, but with smaller hotels this is somewhat expected. Also, the wifi in the room was a little slow, but going to the lobby easily solved that problem.

The area is great, it is near everything you want to visit at Lake Konigsee. The service was average, not that we needed any but they appeared to not want to go out of their way for you. They were very friendly when speaking to them. breakfast was great, I gave a low score on cleanliness because all four of the coffee cups in the bedroom were dirty, I don’t even think they check them. The towels were very rough, I assume there is no softener put in them. It’s a cute hotel, and for the price it wasn’t quite that bad, however, keep in mind taxes are not included and there is a visa service fee, that added another $76 on Our two night stay.

no one in counter befoe checkin time. you can leave luggage there. remember asking "guest card", which you can take bus for free. Room is not big, but OK, with a balcony. I'd like the location. Very close bus stop or souvenir shop, 5 mins to lake

If you want to eat breakfast, get there by 8:05am or they get wiped out by the mad rush of guests getting a jump on there day. They refresh it constantly, but the initial hit takes about 20-30 minutes for them to recover. Overall loved the location. I would easily stay again. Wifi does not work/reach rooms but works in lobby. Get offline and enjoy your company and the landscape.

Hotel is on Konigsee but is right in the middle of a tourist trap of large bus parking and cheap sidewalk shops. The hotel restaurant was closed down and in disarray. The front desk is not staffed. You must call and wait for them to show up. The carpet in the rooms is old and tattered, as is the furniture. There was an overwhelming smell of cooked meat (not in a good way)--yet the restaurant was closed down? Entirely not as advertised and we left immediately. Go to Stolls Hotel Alpina instead. Lovely hotel, great location, all the amenities you would want and half the price of this crappy place.

Hotel location is wonderful -- it is at the beginning of a row of little shops that lead to the lake (Koenigsee). Its a short walk to the lake and tour boats. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a beautiful view from a safe balcony (with a small child, this is important to me). Parking was easy next to the hotel. Breakfast was 8-10am and very good. One quaint detail is that we arrived about 6pm and no one was at the reception desk -- a key with our name on it was just sitting on the front desk. Plus, theres no phone in the room to call hotel staff if you need something. The only truly frustrating, though, was the internet -- the wireless never worked during our stay (2 nights). The price was pretty high not to have these amenities. Still, we are very glad we went to Koenigsee -- its incredibly beautiful. Definitely take the boat tour. We would consider staying here again if the internet worked.

We got a big flat for five people. With magnificent room view of the river and a great space for families.
