Screen doors are to heavy to work for seniors. Heating systems is not working had to use a portable heater. Could use a little updating.

very nice staff. we rented a cabin. it stated 2 queen beds however the second queen was in a small loft. it was a mattress on the floor. If you have trouble climbing a ladder into a loft, then this may be troublesome. rest of cabin had no frills but was comfortable. it was very clean.

The bathtub was filthy, there was a dirty sock by the night stand. The beds were lumpy and I wondered if our sheets had been washed. Not a good time.

Quiet and near the river

This is a typical non-chain motel in a small western town. Other than the fact that the facility clearly has some age and is, therefore, dated, there is nothing to complain about. It was reasonably comfortable, certainly appeared to be safe, had decent internet connectivity, and was reasonably priced. We have stayed there before and we were happy to go back.

The property was well groomed and clean even after they had a lot of rain. And their area at the river was enjoyable too. My husband had a lot of fun taking pictures in that area.

The hotel is in a great area and very convenient for riding the C&T railroad. My wife left a small duffle and the manager, Crystal, immediately got it in the mail to us.

Very nice property, friendly helpful staff. Stayed here to take the Steam Engine train and it is a good choice.

We chose this because of the reviews which I feel were submitted by their friends. The beds were awful. We hary slrpt the first night. The pimlows were not good at all. I had to make one out of my otbes to keep my neck from hurting the second night. Our blaket had holes in it. Would not go back.

Nice little inexpensive motel. Rooms were decent size. Sink is not in the bathroom though. The room looks like it did in 1970 but clean. Next time I'd get their cabin

Super friendly staff. Room very clean. Only complaint was a saggy worn out bed that sags down when you sit or lay down on it.

Pretty much as advertised. This is a convenient location for Chama. Sort of reminiscent of an old motor court. It was worth the money and we would stay again.

Shower was either scalding hot or ice cold no blending.
Most of the outlets did not work an issue when needing too run two CPAP machines

The property setting is beautiful and quiet. I was able to sit in the shaded picnic area, relaxing, and reading a book while viewing the green trees of the mountainside. It is close to the town without being congested. The room was nice but the property does need some maintenance/upgrades. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Great, rustic facilities that fit in with the historic area. Comfortable, I love that it has a screen door in case you want to let in the evening breezes!

This motel was so nice, not fancy, but very clean, and comfortable, and the staff treated us like family! It was a little old fashioned with Keys for the doors, and no chain or dead bolt on our door, but no problems!

Chama was absolutely magical during my one day one night stay there I saw live deer, I saw a live brown bear. I saw streams trees in plants and horses and dogs in on matter of floral and fauna.

Sandra and Julio (Antillon) were excellent hosts and took care of our every need. The rooms were clean and everything was very good, The beds were extra comfortable with perfect pillows. Even though this place was on a highway, it was really quiet. I chose it for its high rating and we were not disappointed. Ii highly recommend this place next time you are in Chama, NM to ride the Cumbres and Toltec RR or on your way farther into New Mexico.

Second worst night’s sleep ever due to terrible lumpy, worn out mattress. Worst was camping on the ground

Internet was too weak to reach room. Power went out twice and breaker was in another room. Had to leave early AM so was partly in the dark.

This motel was well kept and clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

the room that we reserved was not at all adequate for 4 adults and 4 kids. the ladies in the office helped us into a unit that worked nicely. the original should never have been recommended for our group. be careful when booking!!! the price was higher than the price on the hotels web site.
