Centrally located, parking in front of the hotel is free from 5:00pm to 10:00am. Good breakfast included.

Great hotel in Berchtesgaden near lots of wonderful sites in the area!!!

Parking. There is a pay to park lot across the street that has 3 free parking spots reserved for the hotel. Ten yards down there are 2 spaces, off the street, but the only access is if you drive down the sidewalk from the paid lot. The curb is not low enough to drive over. If there is any other parking, I couldn't find it. I don't know what most of their guests do. There were a few small insects in the bathroom. I arrived at around 2 pm and from 11 am to 3pm the reception desk is unstaffed. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast is very good, and the staff are very friendly.

I have stayed in many hotels in Berchtesgaden and this has been my least favourite. Felt chilly mornings and evenings. Tho they did put heat on the last morning of my stay! Quilt wasnt warm on bed either! You have to pay for pool/sauna. Which ai found out on leaving the hotel. Didnt realise I owed money! No bar or restaurant. Breakfast

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were upgraded a room upon arrival and enjoyed the local recommendations provided.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is founded 1860 and the furniture in our room was probably from the seventies but very well maintained, "nice patina" and it still felt very fresh. Spectacular panorama of the mountains and nearby trainstation from the dining room and balconies. Nice with sauna and pool. There is also a cold plunge but it was empty whe we visited. Overall very enjoyable 10/10.

The location is perfect, you get a beautiful view of Berchtesgaden from the breakfast hall. Plus it is a 5 minute walk to the central bus/train station, and close to beautiful trails.

Great breakfast with a stunning view! Rooms quite spacious but very outdated. Near bus stop and laundry store. Staff helped us with our luggages. But a little awful smell when entering the hotel.

Okay, so Berchtesgaden is the jewel but this hotel helps. Located just up the hill from the train station, with a lovely restaurant view and reasonable prices, I can't help but recommend the place. The staff were really friendly too. I enjoyed my stay in Berchtesgaden. I just wish I'd stayed longer.

Great location with easy trail access to the train station. Not quite sound proof so you do hear other guests coming in late at night. Staff is very helpful and answered all of my questions. Taking a dip in the pool was very pleasant after a long day of traveling and trekking.

Fine for one night. No AC, no refrigerator. Breakfast was good. It is up a hill from the train station.room was small and bed so/so. I recomend staying accross from train station on flat ground with AC.

I bought a room with a mountain view. But in reality, first thing you see when you stay by the window or on a balcony is a train station. Description doesn't match the reality. If description would tell the truth about the train station in front of your eyes, I would choose another hotel. Besides that, hotel was ok

The hotel is old and bad room soundproofing.

They are in a great location (easy to get to from the train/bus station) and in general took care of me very well. It was good to be given a free pass on all local buses for the length of my stay.

Clean great location and great breakfast

This was such a cute hotel in such a cute little town! If you will be checking out early or checking in late be sure to let someone know because the front desk staff is not there 24/7.

My Son & I after a long day’s ride in 27 degrees were especially looking forward to have a swim & sauna & it appears the pool & sauna had only just broken?!!

Our junior suite was adorably Bavarian. It was comfortable, spacious and very clean! The bathroom was quite large and also very clean. The buffet breakfast was super, we enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly.

Excellent friendly service, very close to trains and buses and amazing views for breakfast.

Rooms were large. Everything was walking distance. Laundry facility near by, at a fee, but very close. Indoor pool and sauna very nice.

The mattress was v poor. Had a big backache in the morning.

Spent a night to visit the mountain and Königssee. Great facilities, our room had a nice balcony. Interior had a classic charm, all facilities and breakfast clean and fresh. Perfect location in the city. Would go again.

My room was rustic with attractive knotty pine accents and crown moldings. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Without air conditioning, the hotel was still quite comfortable but an electric fan would be appreciated. Parking is a little confusing but the hotel's location downtown makes walking access to the city center quite easy.

Amazing breakfast, exceptional views from the various balconies, near restaurants. The staff is great and super friendly and we loved our rooms. Perfect for our family of four.

Breakfast was good by European standards with scrambled and boiled eggs and a good selection of cold cuts and cheeses. It is on a main street but fairly quiet. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English.

Overall, my stay went very well. The only improvement I would suggest is to increase the number of parking spots - I had to go to the offsite surface parking and pay the fee to avoid being fined.
