My flight was late and they canceled my reservation, because the check in is until 10pm and I could be there on time. To be an B&B close to the airport, it is very inconvenient restricción. I was at midnight in the airport without place to sleep, fortunately I found an hostal very close to the airport that they have 24 hrs service.

The property is more for older couples wouldn't recommend it to any young individuals. It is cash up front no credit card breakfast is not included parking is Limited.

The property was very nice, clean, and provided an early ride to the airport for a reasonable fee. The owner greeted us and made sure we were comfortable. My advice is to try to arrive before dark because the keypad is a little hard to see.

Clean and tidy, lovely host. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

I felt well taken care of and was able to rest comfortably waiting for my flight. A ride to airport was provided and it was perfect for service to airport. The hotel is behind two gates and pickup is safe and secure. No need to wait on street with your belongings. I will be staying here again for sure. Love the great service and friendly welcoming atmosphere. Clean and nice accommodations more than met my standard and needs. However the best part was the staff. So glad a business has stepped up to fulfill this need and performs.

Short stay just to be close to the airport ahead of an early morning flight. Feels like a little refuge within an otherwise unremarkable area and the staff were great. For a 1-night stay near the airport was a great option

Price was different when checking in! other then that service was good, room was clean, but no tv.

We had an amazing time at Casa Maria. It was the perfect place to unwind after a 4.5 hour drive. Dora greeted us and helped us easily get parked and checked in. She asked what time we would like breakfast and suggested places close by to get dinner or anything else we may need. The room was clean, the shower was spacious with HOT water and we enjoyed being able to access the coffee bar and mini kitchen at anytime. Breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, eggs, gallo pinto, plantains(our favorite in CR), buttered toast and jelly, coffee and juice. Checkout was easy and we truly felt welcome and cared for by all. Thank you for a great stay! We will definitely be back. **Helpful tip to find the hotel** Once you cross the small bridge before the entrance, look for the first side street on the right - with the solid black gate and formal entry. (The main gate was already open when we arrived, so it was a bit confusing figuring out which one was the right gate to go in.) There is a directory/keypad located to the left of the main entrance gate on the wall. It's not a small keypad or single button, it's a directory with numbers of each business/hotel listed. The directions state that after you cross the bridge, to look for a black gate near a yellow pole on the right and then punch a number to alert the office you have arrived... unfortunately, there are 3 consecutive black gates immediately after crossing the bridge. Hope that helps :) !

Friendly staff allowed us early check in, I did not like the fact that 11:01 am The door was being knocked to remind me to check out. An hour courtesy would have been nice.

Small family owned B&B within minutes from the airport. Great value, friendly staff, clean basic rooms with a good shower. Perfect when you're exhausted after a long flight from europe.

Small and comfortable B&B, with a front gate. Felt safe as a solo traveler and breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend staying here if coming from/going to the airport. Rooms were quiet (with some airplane noise above) and the staff was excellent.

We spent a night in Casa Maria upon our evening arrival to San Jose, and this place was perfect for us! It is just a short ride from the airport, the property is fenced, and it felt very safe. The place itself is charming and cozy, with a beautiful outdoor kitchen/dining area. Dora is a welcoming host, and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are carefully planned with nice towels, bedding, drinking water. There are 2 restaurants in walking distance or Uber eats delivers to the gate. We heard one plane fly overhead in early evening, other than that quiet If you don't speak Spanish be sure to print out the directions Dota sends you for the taxi driver. Be prepared to pay USD or colones and they may not have change I would happily staythere again for flights from the airport

Clean comfortable and updated lodging with personal service and good communication via Expedia. Difficult to find even with the directions given for the taxi driver. My daughter had difficulty connecting with the owner's phone number at the gate. She succeeded in getting in. We would return.

Dora, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect- very close to the airport, car rental, and shops but in a quiet, gated community. We stayed for one night when we arrived in CR and one night before we left. We enjoyed 2 different rooms, both of which were clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The dining area was charming & comfortable & breakfast was spectacular! Breakfast costs a little extra but is well worth it.

We stayed here (family of 4) as the last leg of our Costa Rica trip. Dora & the other staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is nicely done, basic but clean and modern. The tico-style breakfast was good too. There isn't much within walking distance. One evening we took an Uber to the town plaza which has a lot of restaurants. Uber Eats delivered on the second night. They arranged a shuttle to the airport (10 minute drive) which showed up on time at 4am. Note that they do not accept payment by credit cards, so you have to remember to bring cash, which is a little bit of a hassle.

A really great place super close to the airport. For the price you really can’t fault this for an easy stay before flying out or on arrival.

Warning! We did not stay here despite having reservations and having communicated our arrival information because she would not open the gates for us. Our flight was delayed past 10pm and they close at that hour. We had to find another place to stay at midnight with our family. It was a bummer.

It's very secured area to stay and host is awesome and people who work are very friendly. Even though they don't know much English, able to understand our needs.
