Really cool old inn. Our room was fantastic with all the modern conveniences. Included breakfast was quite nice. They need to improve the check in process. Apparently they only have one computer and the other person was using it to book reservations for someone two months out. People were waiting for someone to seat them in the restaurant forever.

Clean, comfortable, convenient & friendly staff.

We were on a week long trip and stayed at different places, but this was by far the nicest room! Spacious, well stocked, perfect!

We were late arriving but I had called and they make arrangements on how to get the key. We were absolutely intrigued with the hotel and it's history. It was clean, comfortable, and entertaining. We will for sure tell our friends to come and visit.

Room was nice and clean. Check in was horrible. No one there for 20-30 minutes. Then she appeared and was rude and snarky.

We loved everything about this hotel! What a wonderful, unique and special experience! The hotel goes above and beyond to honor the historical significance of this inn! There is even a very cool app for self guided tours! Plus, all of the recommendations were spot on! The only negative is that there is no elevator. If you can’t do stairs, this hotel is not for you.

It was a lovely stay for an evening! Check-in was easy, the room was clean and comfortable, and cool in July. We enjoyed the breakfast next morning as well. The Tavern Restaurant had delicious, reasonably priced food. We would stay again in the future.

The building is convenient to downtown amenities. The room (207) was spacious and the bathroom was great with the freestanding bathtub! The room gets very dark at night and was very quiet.

We have stayed here a few times before! Always clean and nice.., being right in the downtown you have lots of options for restaurants and shops… staff is wonderful!

We stayed in the inn which has about 15 rooms. Everything was updated. Our room was huge and had a view of the roundabout in Bardstown. The inn is right in the heart of downtown and it is less than a 10 min drive to Willett and Heaven Hill Distilleries.

The Talbott Inn is adorable. Our room was very large and comfortable. We enjoyed happy hour on the common area balcony and the historic bourbon bar was beautiful. We laughed at the wavy, uneven floors but that was part of the charm for the historical site. Parking can be a challenge.

The hotel is an interesting old building that is connected to a tavern built in 1779. The rooms have been re-done and the location of the hotel is ideal for walking around town.

We were staying at the inn while passing through on the bourbon trail! What a great find. Food was delicious at the restaurant as well for dinner and breakfast. Everyone was kind and the room was clean.

Great place to stay. Parking is a little tough

Everything was lovely. Room was beautiful and comfy. Mini fridge and microwave, bottled water and coffee maker. Large closet which was actually an old safe which was very cool! Bed was comfy, lots of pillows, lots of channels on the tv. The location was outstanding! Right in the middle of town. Small parking lot but street parking also available . Breakfast at the tavern was included, next door which in itself is the worlds oldest bourbon bar and has wonderful food, as well as guest rooms upstairs where many famous people have stayed. Small gift shop. The staff was very friendly. Really nice place!

Overall we had a good experience. We were arriving after 8pm so the staff called us to arrange for us to get the key to the room. We stayed in the original building which has so much history. It was cool imagining how many famous, and infamous, people darkened the door of the inn. Be aware, parking is very limited if you are looking to park next to the building. We had to drive around a couple times until we happened to catch a car leaving one of the parking.spots next to the building. Restaurant breakfast was very good and just the right amount to get the day started. Coffee was excellent.

We were on a bourbon trail trip. Talbott Inn was in the perfect location close to many distilleries. Once we were back for the evening, there was plenty to do within walking distance. Bardstown is such a cute and historic town. We loved the Bourbon Bar at the Inn - great drinks, great vibe, and met great people! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and very convenient. We were in the Inn not the B&B. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely return and recommend!

It was a nice stay with much history. The room was large and clean. Bathroom door stuck buck may be expexted in old building charm. Included breakfast was good and great staff. For the price, well worth a stay.

The Talbot Inn is next to the Old Talbot Tavern. It's close to everything downtown and very walkable. Our room was huge, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small. We would stay there again. The only drawback was breakfast wasn't much and the coffee was poor. Luckily there are lots of other choices nearby.

Amazing place!

Previous occupants hair in tub. They did not tell us we above the the bar where the band would be until midnight.

There is not a whole lot of parking unless you count the lot that's a half a block away

Great upgraded conditions. Gorgeous room. Will be back!
