I've stayed at other hotels in Springfield, even the MGM and this stay at the Holiday Inn was far better than those other places. The value, location and incredible staff really made it a great stay.

The location is not the best location as the area around the hotel is run down. Sketchy at night.

Comfortable rooms with nice beds. The breakfast is great, especially when traveling as a family. This was my second stay here and the only disappointment was I never had more than luke warm water in the shower at night and in the morning. I never called the desk to ask why.

Staff was friendly and helpful, even allowed me to borrow a plug for my phone. I needed a plug because the rooms do not have USB charging ports. The room and bathroom were spotless. The beds had pillowcases indicating if it was soft or firm. Parking was in a lot across the street from the property. Hotel was less than a 3 minute walk from MGM Springfield. The complimentary breakfast served in the lobby area was lacking to say the least. Dry cereal, rubbery hard boiled eggs, premade and microwaved omelets, turkey sausage patties and pork link sausage and mini muffins. No pancakes, waffles, bacon or oatmeal.

The hotel was good , however , the cafe next door is open until 2 am and they playing music so if glou light sleeper , def get earplugs . Parking was plenty however it’s a bit far from the actual hotel ; I wish was closer . Third , location felt little off , didn’t feel that safe to be honest so I would advise any solo female travelers to be careful ! Everything else was good .

Check in went well. Shortly after check in, a loud clanging sound began from the ceiling. We called maintenance and they responded quickly and they investigated Noise stopped for several hours, however began again around 1:30am and continued throughout the night.

We generally do not like to get hotels in the middle of a large city, but this hotel was wonderful. Free parking, very close access to Springfield's 5 museums, and an excellent breakfast. I give this place high praise!

Overall a GREAT hotel! Stayed one night for a work trip. Checking in was a breeze and room was HUGE. Very clean and lots of windows to allow for natural light which makes a difference. Breakfast was great…tons of option and a really nice eating area. Walking distance to everything downtown. Will stay again!

The room was spacious beds were comfortable they had extra pillows and blanket. Bathroom was nice liked the soap and shower dispensers. Breakfast was good with choices. The only negative was the hot water in the shower didn’t last

The hotel was fine. First night had to deal with marajuana smell seeping into our room in the evening. Shower was never hot. It was noisy periodically nearby. Room has ants by the window….

I was very happy with our room. It was attractive, up to date, and comfortable. The breakfast was also good. When I first went to get coffee, it was empty...which is no big deal...I let the staff member know, she told me 2 minutes, and then actually brought a full cup to me vs just letting me know it was refilled... outstanding! 😊
On the other side, somehow the fact that we had checked into the room was not noted at the front desk, leading to a call around 10:45, that woke my son & I up, to see if we were in the room and asking me to come to the front desk in the morning, and then another call ~5 minutes later telling me that they figured it out. I'm sure that doesn't happen regularly, but also feel that it wasn't urgent enough to call that late.
Overall, I'd definitely stay again.
