Lovely place and setting. Nice views from the room. Plenty of parking. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Dinner and breakfast really nice - food locally sourced. Will certainly come back and stay.

Great hotel part of a long business trip. Very rustic pub but great annexe buildings for the rooms. Loved every minute of this stay. Food was just fabulous and big hats off to the chef. Clearly makes everything fresh and I seen him clear glasses in the morning. You don’t see that very often. Well done everyone at falcon in

Stayed here a few times now when visiting daughter who lives nearby. Nice dog friendly pub in a nice quiet village. There are a good selection of meals all freshly cooked.

Dirty and poor facilities Not value for money

Really friendly helpful and interested team working here. Room on the small side, but very nice and quiet away from the pub and had all amenities you could ask for. Good power shower. Beds a bit soft for my taste. Food in the pub was wholesome big portions and great breakfast choices so overall good value for a pleasant stay. We’ll be back. Oh and it’s a nice little village too.

Great accommodation next to a country pub. Breakfast menu is excellent. Room very clean and comfortable and many nice touches we weren't expecting. Overall a great stay in great location!

Lovely old building, super clean and comfortable room, the pub is a perfect example of what a village pub should be with great food and beers.

Have been trying to book this place for a while and was not disappointed. Evening meals were great and the staff very pleasant. Room very comfortable but only disappointment was mould and cleanliness in bathroom, however I would still book again.

Excellent staff. I arrived from a festival after midnight. The owner got out of bed and helped me get settled. He was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean with a traditional and modern decor. The room was advertised as a "single bed" but was actually contained a double bed with plenty of room. An unexpected bonus. Breakfast officially finishes at 9.30am. I arrived at 9.20am and was still served the full menu with extra portions and extra coffee at no extra charge without any rush. I'm a tall person. People who are tall may need to request a room with higher ceiling beams! The staff at reception mentioned they would be happy to provide this when these rooms are available as long as this is requested in advance. Wonderful experience all around.

Very welcoming, all the staff were friendly and attentive. Room was full of character and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and it was equally as good. Breakfast was excellent and service again was great. No concerns over stopping there again.

Room very well equipped with various things, such as fridge with fresh milk, drink making facilities, reasonable space, nice clean bathroom. Quiet location for a decent night's sleep. Good honest pub grub. Nice village location. Nothing much not to dislike, will use again, would recommend.

Very nice stay, good food and friendly staff. The room I had could have done with a referb, looked a bit lived in. All very comfortable and a great breakfast...

Lovely welcome . Given key to room 3. Room was tastefully furnished. Tea coffee water and orange juice. Lovely toiletries supplied along with fluffy towells.Bed was spacious and very comfortable. The whole place was nice and clean.Dinner was nice and staff so helpful and friendly. Good selection of wines and beers.There was a quiz night on which occurs every monday. We joined in and had a great time. Great atmosphere and friendly crowd made it a night to remember. Breakfast was gorgeous Ian is a great cook and Suzanne a lovely hostess.We will definitely be staying again !

In fact we chose this location due to dogs being welcome (in the bar part of the pub too while we ate an evening meal) and not being charged a supplement for the dogs. The room had everything we wanted plus extras like a wireless phone charger and a fridge with fresh milk and free orange juice and bottled water. Friendly service in the bar too. Made to feel welcome. Will definitely book again.
