The Wye Valley hotel is a lovely place to stay, room was very clean, very comfortable, and the breakfast amazing. All in all a good choice. Would definitely stay again Any thanks to the staff.

We really enjoyed our stay and the spacious room/bathroom were great. The food is well above average and we especially enjoyed the lamb. Great place to stay while exploring Tintern.

This is not a modern hotel . More an old pub with rooms . However it has character and the room was to a high standard with a large bed and a bright bathroom . Water pressure from the shower could be better . Owners who made us feel welcome and a bar with a good selection of local drinks . Wholesome breakfast in the morning

This is a great hotel situated in the village and in walking distance of the Abbey and other activities. The owners are really friendly and the pub is busy so has a lovely vibe. Breakfast was great and I heard that they will make up packed lunches if you need them. Rooms have hair driers and tea and coffee and are really spacious for a cottage hotel. Would stay again.

Very helpful staff who suggested ideas of places to visit. Food excellent and felt as if staff really cared. Great location.

Nice hotel, lots of choice at breakfast inc full English (or rather Welsh!). Bin was full of previous guest’s rubbish but hoping that’s a one off.

Only one nights stay, en route from Margam back to Plymouth, but would definitely return if in the area. Friendly owners (and staff), comfortable and clean room and en-suite. Welcoming bar for evening meal and interesting dining room for breakfast. A very pleasant, but sadly short, stay. Thank you to all.

Small hotel/pub in a beautiful, interesting area. Loads of parking, good cooked breakfast (with fruits & yoghurts, cereals etc as well). Friendly, pleasant owners & staff. It’s a very short drive or a longer walk to Tintern Village with its shops and magnificent ruined Abbey. Straight across the road by Parva Farmhouse through the churchyard are well marked and maintained footpaths along the banks of the River Wye - well worth exploring. Although the hotel is on the main road, it’s a surprisingly quiet road, so no noise problem there. My room was super clean with great quality bedding, well equipped with all the essentials, well decorated and light with several windows (as the hotel is the last building on that side of the road, this gave lovely, uninterrupted views of the surrounding hills.). A great stop over and would make a great base for exploring this beautiful & historic area.

We had a fantastic time. Hotel was clean and comfortable and all the staff were friendly. The food was wonderful and the service was great. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely time, had an enjoyable evening meal at our hotel on the 1st night, & when down into the village for the 2 nd evening meal. Breakfast in the mornings was very good A1. We will be returning.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel thanks to the personal touch of the owner and staff. The room was roomy and comfortable, and the food and drink were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Wye Valley beer! The staff were friendly and obliging, even providing little extras to accommodate my culinary tastes. In short, highly recommended.
