This property is a ski lodge and once you understand that, its great! Its an older place that maximizes space for sleeping. Theres a large common area with lots of comfy seating, a piano and a huge fireplace. Breakfast was typical continental style, coffee was good and the hostess was interesting and informative. Our room was small as was the bathroom but it was totally adequate!

Thank you Audrey for the warm welcome!! It's a beautiful lodge with the river across the road and beautiful tree filled hillside. Audrey was so friendly to start a fire outside and visited with us. She made us feel right at home. It's very clean and homey. I recommend you stay here if you can it's well worth it!!

I loved that this was a traditional Vermont ski lodge. It's definitely not fancy, the walls are thin, but it is so "Vermont". I loved that the downstairs had a living room with games and magazines, making it very social for those who want to be social. If you want the ski lodge aura, this is the place to stay!

We booked the room that can have 6 guests sleep. It was simple but clean. One problem is that wifi won't work since it's not close to the main building, where the router locates.

Fun stay at a very affordable rate. I have stayed here multiple times and enjoy meeting other skiers. I like the open living area with comfortable chairs, couches, and fireplace.

The inn was quiet, clean and comfortable and affordable . Best part it’s just a 2 minute drive to Killington gondola! There was a nice continental breakfast included in the common sitting area that had fresh fruit, homemade muffins, and quiche! Classic ski lodge inn

It's a great place for hardcore skiers to crash. The front desk manager (Mrs. Robinson) was great. The Boy Scouts were a little loud and had to arm wrestle 12-year-olds for breakfast - but that added to the fun atmosphere of this old-school lodge. Loved the knotty pine walls. We'll be back.

This is a warm and friendly place. Perfect for families. Literally 3 minute drive from Killington Gondola. We ended up skiing with fellow guests.

This place was so nice- we will absolutely be back. The lobby/downstairs was very pleasant and had a nice, warm, calm vibe. The staff was kind, warm, and accommodating. Everything was great. Always a nice fire in the fireplace, nice table to eat on, comfy places to hang, lots of games, an electric piano and community fridge. It was an awesome place to bring our 4 year old and relax after bedtime.
FYI, you might have a shared bathroom by floor (in case you care.)
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars in cleanliness is because our floor dearly needed vacuuming- all kinds of odd things from past inhabitants under the bed. The beds, bathroom, linens etc were all perfectly clean. Again, this is a nice, affordable place.

It was nice and quiet. The staff was very welcoming.

Unexpected lovely community experience. Truly enjoyed meeting other travelers. Breakfast was more than I expected. The shared bathrooms are very clean and tidy.

We had booked room with Private bathroom but we were given room with Shared bathroom as all rooms with private were occupied. Looks like this hotel is misleading the customers by describing all rooms as "Private or Shared" bathrooms. They should explicitly mention for every room if it has private bathroom or not. By putting "OR" in their description, they end up getting bookings for customers who may think that they will get private bathrooms.

The stay here was unfortunately masked with a febreeze smell from the minute we walked in the door. Makes us wonder what are they trying to cover up? The bed was incredibly comfortable & room was very clean. The uneven height in the stairs needed to access inside the front door & upstairs would be difficult, if you had mobility issues.

Make no mistake, these accomodations are pretty basic. Room was small - barely fit the bed and room to walk around it. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Smallest shower stall I have ever seen. Price was very reasonable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was the typical bagels/muffins/oatmeal/coffee variety. Road noise if you left the windows open due to proximity to US-4. Lots of board games to play in common area.

Nice rustic hostel very close to the mountain and all the restaurants. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was very basic but we did not need anything fancy. All in all I would recommend this place.

The property is just a 2 min drive from the Killington gondola. I rented a separate room. The room was clean and across the hall from the bathroom. A light continental breakfast was provided. There is a communal fridge and a microwave. Best part of lodge is community room with comfy seating and a large fireplace. There is a booknook area with a small library for quiet reading on the third floor. This is a no frills lodge with a great location and a fun atmosphere.

Great Ski Lodge

The description of the room lists a bathroom but does not indicate that it is a SHARED bathroom. The bed was hard as a rock. The lights outside shone so bright it was like daylight in the room at night. There was someone watch TV until 2 in the morning. I got no sleep. The share bathroom was dirty and no one cleaned it over the weekend. I hope I never have to stay there again.

The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were surprisingly good for this type of lodging. Although the room was quite small, it was comfortable enough for a 4 night stay.

This is not a high end hotel but it’s clean and staff is friendly. We have stayed at all the hotels on the mountain during biking season and this one works nicely.
