Good hotel in good location. The room was spacious and the bathroom looked new. All perfect for an overnight stay.

Check in was nicely handled by a very warm and friendly receptionist. The room was large, spotlessly clean and very quiet.

Great hotel great location, just got no sleep because of a yapping dog. Complained in the morning and they told me I should have called reception and changed rooms… at 2.30 in the morning, like it was my fault which made me feel even worse. I don’t think anyone would be up for changing rooms at that hour. Disappointing stay.

It seems like the standards have dropped in recent months. Room service is not great, you pay more and get less compared to a few months ago. I was being charged for breakfast although I had already paid for it when booking, so I had to provide proof before it was deducted.

Accessible room was furthest from the lift. Bathroom one of the best equipped i have used. The Receptionist had to help with my bags. The room was clean and comfortable. However it was not serviced during my two day stay. On the whole the food was good, but i did have one sandwich with chicken that was partly uncooked. They have to remember that not everyone is electonically knowledgeable.

Good stay overall. However, the check-in and breakfast process left much to be desired. First of all they couldn't find our details even though we had the email and booking reference. Secondly, we were told we had not paid for breakfast even though our booking clearly included it. These issues were rectified with apologies from the team but shouldn't have happened in the first place.

The Hotel seems to be newly renovated. The room facilities are very good but pillows are too soft. All in all very good.

We booked 5 nights at the Doubletree Hull but our stay was spoiled due to the bed which was so firm and uncomfortable leading to a reoccurrence of a an old sciatic condition for my wife. We were informed that all beds were the same in the hotel so changing room would be unlikely to resolve the problem and we seriously considered abandoning our trip accordingly. The staff did help by adding a duvet on top of the mattress acting as a topper but this only partly resolved the problem. We would have checked out early if we hadn’t booked using a non refundable tariff so we ended up purchasing a thick mattress topper for the bed from a local superstore to ensure we were able to sleep more comfortably.

We had a brilliant overnight stay, staff were helpful and the rooms were clean comfortable and stylish.

All fine. Rooms clean, modern and spacy. Traffic during check in and out. Should be improved. Nice bar and remarkable Restaurant. Good breakfast.

Great stay, the only fault for me was no fridge in the bedroom which was disappointing

It's a nice property but the parking lot is not obvious. Furthermore, if you do park there, you need to walk quite a distance around the building to check in at the front desk. It's not convenient. Hotel employees can enter from a rear door facing the parking lot. Why not residents too?? We ate dinner on property and it was good enough. Not excellent, but good

Gorgeous room. Annoyingly few tea bags and milk sachets provided. Lovely toiletries. Didn’t get to use the rooftop bar on a sunny day as was closed for private party which was a shame. 10-15 min walk to everywhere we wanted to go: The quay restaurants, New Theatre, the Minster, the Polar Bear Club (fab live music in small pub setting!)

When you start your stay with a free complimentary cookie, you know it's going to be a good time! Fantastic service by fantastic staff, who were super helpful the whole stay! The room given was lovely, clean and spacious. Slept very well - bed very comfy. Breakfast was really nice, with plenty of options to choose from. Would highly recommend staying here.

Quick check in, warm cookie on arrival. Room clean and specious. Nice and modern. Bathroom clean however shower gel was empty but reception responded to my request to refill. Did not go to gym. Good location although how do Hull not have Uber?! Overall, would stay again.

Nicely situated, close to shopping and connexin arena .

We live locally (Beverley) but due to attending an event in the city and other friends staying we decided to do the same. Reception staff on arrival were particularly friendly & welcoming. Very apologetic about the systems being down at the time of our arrival which couldn’t be helped, these things happen. The complimentary warm cookies were a nice touch. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. My only quibble, but this isn’t exclusive to your hotel, would be the cost of drinks at the bar. I found the prices of most hotels to be unnecessarily expensive. This may be an area the hotel chain could look at to set themselves apart from other bigger name hotels. That said, it didn’t spoil our stay and overall it was a pleasant experience.

It was a good stay and enjoyed the restaurant food as well.
